The two counts are 1) receiving and 2) possessing the images. We don't know how many images there are.

I was afraid those documents might indicate the images included his kids and possibly even some of the kids of his survivors.

Not that it would be worse if it were. It's horrible period!  But I was thinking it'd be like yet another layer of victimization if his family members who were basically told to forgive their brother, then if he'd turned around and had images of their kids as well, I can't imagine how that would have been a potential additional degree of complexity for them to deal with. 

So horrible. And unfortunately so not a surprise.

I don't think it is just his own children that are of concern. There are a LOT of young children in the Duggar family.  I don't know how he could possibly stay in or around his family with all the children involved. What a sad state of affairs that  perhaps could all have been avoided if J and M had arranged proper (not Jesus camp) treatment for Josh when the abuse of his sisters was first discovered.

I believe it means he broke 2 laws, 1-receiving and 2-possession and I don’t believe it refers to how many images he had.  If someone knows please correct me!

Again I don’t know US law but in England we use ‘roll up’ counts for possession and making etc. The actual number and type of images are then schedules- we categorise them according to seriousness.

At the very least I'm glad the Dillards are having their very smart decision not to let him near their kids validated. They may be awful in other ways, but at least they're trying to protect the little lives they created.

It says he received it on or about a couple days almost 2 years ago. Just those couple of days. He should still have people saying it could've been an accident etc, I bet.
