The problem with both the cartoon and Smittykins's comments is the Republican excuse that "Trump might be a (insert word here, like fraud, moron, con artist, etc) but he's OUR (insert word here, like moron, fraud, con artist) so he's okay. Kind of like that obnoxious uncle you have to tolerate because they're family.
