My Grandad was injured with mustard gas during WW1.  He died in 1966 in his early 70s. 

He worked hard all his life and raised a family of 6 children. He always had outdoor work due to lung damage and needing fresh air. His eyes were affected. He wore glass but wasn't allowed to drive because of eyesight issues. 

He stood in wet trenches and watched his pals die around him. He fought in the 'war to end all wars' then watched as two of his sons were conscripted for WW11.  Thankfully they both came back although they both died earlier than they could have expected to due to war wounds etc.

McFuckface can't stand underneath an umbrella with wet feet for an hour to honour the services. 

He is beneath us all, so far beneath. A complete waste of space and oxygen.
