Aspiring a Pastor Accused of Stabbing Wife to Death

That's a lot of rage. Even if we do believe that he was drugged to the gills, why so much unconscious rage? And she would have been screaming his name. That didn't wake him up but then he does wake up to call 911? How long after she was stabbed did he call 911?

 You wake up to find your wife stabbed repeatedly, you have blood on you and there's a knife and instead of calling 911 and screaming help me you have a whole story of what happened ready when you call? Yeah, buddy, let the authorities figure it out when they get there, okay? You're trying to direct the narrative and that looks bad.

It will be interesting to see what comes out but the fact that her family doesn't appear to be buying his story says a lot.

This is more unbelievable than Oscar Pistorious claim that he thought he was shooting at a robber in the bathroom. No one accidentally stabs someone over 100 times that was intentional.

Before I read the article and had only seen Ambien mentioned as a possible drug, I was open to the idea it was possibly an unfortunate awful Ambien caused psychosis.  I have had a weird Ambien blackout once (I didn't do anything other than eat dinner and have full non-nonsensical conversations, but still). 

Once I read it was a cold medicine, um, no.  Not buying it.

It also sounds like he was indicted for premeditated murder.

Stabbed 123 times sounds like someone had a lot of negative emotions, not like someone accidentally did it in their sleep because cold meds!

Search warrants have been unsealed. He and his wife were having marital problems and she was thinking of leaving. He was fascinated by the movie American Psycho and had an Instagram account showing himself dressed as the main character. He also apparently told a friend he wondered what it would be like to kill someone.

I'm not buying the Coricidin defense at all now.

He has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and will get life in prison without parole. Sounds like he was trying to avoid the death penalty.
