Strange new find - The Peculiar Princess More Messianic Judaism

Recommended Posts

raised in rebellion

This is my 1st post, and I am headed to the intro page next. In the meantime, I was advised that I could start a thread here.

This lady is far out, and has many blogs, vlogs, books, and a fairly wide Internet presence. However, she's been around for years and no one seems to be joining her little cult of one.

Themes revolve around being sad and right, rejection, the end times, and how to live as a Real Follower of Messiah and YVHV. Not wrong, like all y'all.

Her youtube videos are a thing of beauty.

Lol. Of course I did that. I am technologically challenged.

If this doesn't work, I'll read the directions.

Oh @raised in rebellion, you struck gold.

I do not adhere to Big Pharma in any way shape or form.  I do not seek medical attention for anything in my life.  I would go to a chiropractor or reflexologist if one were available, but no professional in mainstream allopathic medicine and no pharmakeia.  Although this is a general statement, and I'm sure there are exceptions, I do not trust nurses, because society has redefined a Scriptural term.  Nursing was a Biblical profession, that no longer carries the original meaning.  Nurses in Scripture worked for one family or one person for a lifetime.  Now nurses work for their employer, often a "care" facility or a pharmaceutical company, a doctor, and always the state that issued their license.  The patient is at least third on the list of priorities . . . Clearly a far cry from Deborah in Scripture.  Doctors answer to the AMA, insurance, and represent Big Pharma, so I do not feel my best interest is actually their top priority.  Now, my stand on this one issue, if I were anyone at all, would be discredited by 98% of our society, including my family.  Therefore, I choose to keep my health matters, private.

I carry a copy of health choices in writing in my wallet, just in case some sort of incident took place publicly and I was unconscious or in a situation in which I could not verbalize my wishes.  I do not expect everyone or anyone, for that matter, to share my view, but I do expect them to honor my decision for myself.  Having been in a situation in which I errantly trusted family, I have since put my choice in writing and would not contact them in case of emergency.  I've told Mr. B, in case of severe illness, he is not to notify family until I'm recovering or ready for burial, whichever is the end result.  I'm not mad at them for not agreeing with me, I just know that and accept that fact.  So my health is my business, between my Heavenly Father and myself, and trusted to no one else.

I also mentioned finances.  My parents are quite secretive about their finances and although I don't talk much about my net worth and cash flow, I do share budgeting and saving ideas when asked.

Just friggin gold.

In typical Messianic Jewish fashion, she claims to keep kosher, but doesn't seem to grasp the concept. In fact the first recipe she lists is this cream of chicken soup. contributorsrecipes.blogspot.com

And the links to info on the NWO featured on goshengazette.net just make me think of that South Park episode with the league of Anti-Semitic Jews.

What sane person thinks "ooh, I've got some kind of viral infection, lemme go to a back specialist who'll manipulate my neck and spine"??? If I had back/neck problems, I'd consider going to one. I know I've said this before on FJ, but it utterly baffles me that when Erika Shupe's son Riley gouged out his palate with a dowelling rod, she went to a fucking CHIROPRACTOR rather than the ER. Fucking NO. Having looked up a bit about chiropractors a lot of them seem to peddle woo-y crap. Yeah, I am so gonna entrust my and my kids' health to someone like that. (/endsarcasm)

Have you been to the message board? Pretty sparse, but the make believe Judaism is on full display here. Fundy values with a really poor understanding of Jewish life and culture.

I noticed this year at Rosh Hashanah, that the 10 days of Awe between Feast of Trumpets and Day of Atonement could be a countdown, as well.  These two Holy Days specify the sounding of the shofar or trump (sic).  In the New Testament we are told the trump (sic) shall sound, but it doesn't specify where that trump (sic) will be sounded.  It doesn't say an angelic being will sound that trump (sic) and I just noticed it says at the last trump (Sic,- If the Donald gets elected, I'm  blaming this person for sending out subliminal messages via her typos), as in a temporal succession.  Could that mean Holy Day to Holy Day (Ask a rabbi,- if you can stand being around an actual Jew)?  We do know, for the most part, those that are observing the Feasts and Holy Days do not recognize Messiah and those that say they recognize him are not observing the Holy Days (Right because unlike you they are Jewish) . . . Could this be one of the reasons it will come as a sudden surprise?

I was awakened this morning, very early, and so I asked YHVH what HE wanted to talk about.  When I wake up in the middle of the night for no apparent reason in the physical realm, my first thought is YHVH (Because, as a typical egotistical fundy, you think the most likely reason for you being awake is God, and not your environment, sleep patterns, etc).  Since the clock striking doesn't usually awaken me, and I wasn't thirsty, I asked YHVH if there was something I should know.  As we communed regarding the ministry, a thought came to me.  Messiah ascended 10 days before the apostles received the Spirit of G~D.  And those apostles spent those 10 days in absolute fervent prayer and obedience in that upper room, per Messiah's instructions.  I'm wondering if the 10 days of Awe, between Feast of Trumpets and Day of Atonement are going to be spent differently next year?(You remind me of this guy I met during a stay in a psych hospital. I hope you two never meet).

I've realized that many people that have been Christians for a long time really have no idea about G-d's calendar (Actually, a lot of the educated one's do, so maybe don't get too excited).  When I visited a Messianic congregation, I was blown away to realize that Sabbath wasn't Sunday!! (You were blown away? Sounds like maybe you aren't Jewish?) I have felt for a long time that I need to pay closer attention to the Hebrew calendar and the Holy Days (Maybe, or maybe you need to talk to some rabbis or Jewish people about what being Jewish means, before you start playing at something you don't understand).  That things would line up with G-d's calendar and make alot of sense when things happened (Yeah, or they still wouldn't. But hey, you do you).

Deborah was a slave, most likely. But nurses working for employers are real evil of the world. #FundieLogic

Is it just me or does the term  "messianic jews" seem like a real oxymoron?

It is like IFB, but MORE legalistic. Yeshua did not abolish The Law, but to fulfill it. Yada yada. So all of leviticus, Torah, at face value. All feasts, holy days, rules, regulations. Many of their rabis are converted evangelical secular Jews. It's more stifling than any other place of worship I've been.

And this lady takes THAT extreme to an extreme!

Only completely. When I asked a similar question of my brother's messianic gf, years ago she had like a whole prepared lecture on how "Yahovah" grants enlightenment of these things to his chosen few. It was extra salty on her part given that I'm Sephardic

This reminds me of Dede.  Has this woman, by any chance, been pregnant for the last year or two?

This woman comes off as a real Mommy Dearest-type. I was going to do a compilation post of her meanest comments about her children, but when I typed "my daughter" into the search field, I was overwhelmed, so it'll have to wait for another day.

However, I hope she and my mother never meet to compare notes on saying hurtful things about their children. They'd be unstoppable.

That's her. If you're pregnant for 2 years, do you think you'd deliver a toddler, or just a huge infant?

Regarding "trump (sic)", that's not a typo or misspelling, it's a KJV thing. 1 Corinthians 15:52 and 1 Thessalonians 4:16.

Sidebar: Do not look up trump vs trumpet. There's apparently a lot of end times theories involving Donald Trump floating around out there.

Yes, she is big into KJV, and always quotes that; but I remember years back that she mentioned on one of her sites that she was working on her own translation of the bible. I'm not sure if that was ever published.

She was my 1st fundy, before I knew what that even meant. Blogger used to list all of a person's blogs, and she has scores of them out there. I can't remember them now, though. I ran across her Standing Rock piece, and The LORD convicted me to sign up for FJ, because I've always been surprised it isn't here already!

She's a busy bee!

Interesting. Thanks for the intel! I even googled it (apparently too briefly) to check. My faith hopping parents forced us into a lot of religions conservative and otherwise, but unlike my brother, I was always too oppositional-defiant to be included in their Fundy phase. I'm currently working through the KJV for personal edification, but I'm not even close to NT.

Peculiar Princess is sad. She's writes that her husband is not attracted to her and they're celibate because he doesn't like how modest she dresses ( http://thepeculiarprincess.blogspot.com/2015/11/true-confession.html?m=1) then in another post she writes that they were destined together by God and waited until marriage for sex but then shortly after the honeymoon, the husband said he's not attracted to her. But it sounds like she won't ask for a divorce (because that's a sin?) and is just sitting around hoping he'll leave her (http://thepeculiarprincess.blogspot.com/2015/11/are-you-done-talking.html?m=1). How depressing.

this woman has some serious issues...all the religion in the world isn't going to fix it...she needs a good shrink, a few good slaps upside the head and some deprogramming.
