First off I never called the girl a slut. However, by stating that she would get pregnant early was the truth as both Psych. Today and Progress articles confirm that the sexuality exhibit today by young teens certainly leads to young pregnancies (77% in boys and 60+% in girls).

And clearly a lack of sex education has nothing to do with anything. Teens have ALWAYS been sexual. They just used to be married before it was considered a problem. The problem of teen sexuality today is with adults who want to think their teens are still innocent little babies. It's a lie to say teens are more sexual today than they used to be. They're just starting to be more open about it.

BTW Mental illness is a disease that affects your mood, thinking and behavior. The thinking of both you and Trynn trying to pass teens at taking naked pics and forwarding them to friends as normal ISN"T IT IS ILLEGAL. You seemingly can't get past that self expression at her age in that manner is ILLEGAL the way she is doing it. Does this mean that kids playing doctor is a horrific, illegal thing? No. Exploration and curiosity is a normal part of growing up. A lot of things are normal and natural. Hello fun killer, I started the thread so not to highjack the Disney daughters thread. Child porn is Illegal and egregious by definition. I wanted to point out to parents how this looks to the court by advising them on the basics of what is Child porn by law. After all what is the purpose of starting a new thread if not to identify and talk about a new subject. Fundiefarmer, I started the separate thread as sort of a PSA (Public Service Announcement) regarding a very bad issue in what constitutes child porn and how it is taken and handled in the courts. As I was reading Disneydaug. thread I found Trynn's post so egregious that I started a new thread to discuss same as this is an up can coming issue in the todays world and will only continue to do so in the future. I was hoping that more parents would come to honest hold a discussion about this subject but it seems as though parents want to turn a blind eye to the subject and act as if it is normal when it is the complete opposite. Parents in the end are responsible for their kids and by not teaching them right from wrong especially what is Illegal you are only leading them down a path to get them into trouble later on.

I know for a fact, especially in big law offices, a full and complete background check will be done on you as well as domain sites, FB, Twitter, etc. You will be profiled. All Large companies do this now. You are judged by what your content is. If you show yourself in certain situations you will not get those jobs. The attorneys will never discuss that with you but it is a fact. Everything that is put on social media becomes you next employers profiling method in your life. People now have to deal with this issue and more so for their kids.

I have to say fundiefarmer that you said it best, I expected too much of the people on this board. Parents are deeply daft in their denial but you proved it youself but your own post. You witnessed porn at the college level and knew how it was received and mocked and that many of those people had to wait out the embarrassment. However, when child porn goes out the younger ones are going to get hit harder with it and the parents need to own those actions because if they are presented in court that is the only option.

I do think parents need to have a long, hard talk with their kids about the subject and make it clear that there are life long consequences from sending a topless picture when you are 13. I do not think that a teen should be charged with disseminating porn for sending a nude picture of herself to another teen. Gayle, I don't care if your teen wants to have sex at a young age or if he/she wants to experiment. That is not the issue at hand. Not everyone wants to view you son or daughter naked and that is their right but if you child sends them a racy photo and doesn't advise them and they open it and feel it is wrong they are within their rights to handle it as such because it is what it is. Today as he/her have more of a chance at becoming pregnant young than not (boys are 77% likely to knock someone up (so over 2/3rds, and girls 60+%, just under 2/3rds).
