Daughters now wearing pants

(I tried posting this on an existing thread, but guess it's in the archive section so not showing up)

So I've noticed that Anna and Esther Beasley have been wearing pants and shorts a lot lately in pics. I'm wondering what the change in rules is with that family? They seem to share the same beliefs and are friends with the Wissmans and Gradys. We know the Wissman daughters-in-law and the two married Wissman daughters wear pants. The daughters-in-law seem to wear them most of the time. Rachel and Bethany still seem to wear skirts in pics where they are with the whole family, but in pics of them and their husbands they are wearing pants a lot. Anyway, I'm just wondering if anyone with insight into these families knows whats up. I wonder if the Wissmans believe girls wear skirts cause Daddy likes it that way, but when they are married, it's up to Hubby. But I'm just still wondering why Anna and Esther's family suddenly don't seem to have that rule anymore. I don't get to see Grady pics anymore to know if they've lightened up on that either. (And I do know that the wissman girls wear jeans/capris when working in the irrigation fields, but no other time it seems).

I don't think the Beasleys ever had a skirts only rule. In the past I've seen Anna and Esther wearing pants. Recently, Kori Wissman has been wearing fundie approved skirts

The Wissman daughters wear jeans when they're working on the land. They've stated they feel it's more practical and safer than skirts. I don't think there's anything to it except that.

Wearing pants during certain activities is safer and makes sense.

Tell that to the Bargar-Maxwells.

I think Mama Munck stated that Liz and Rebecca often wear pants in the shop because its more practical if they're working with dogs.

I'm pretty sure if Sarah, Anna, or Mary got their skirt caught in a piece of heavy machinery and was seriously injured, Steve and Teri would just blame it on the will of God, or ask them what sin they committed that caused God to punish them.

that makes me cringe! i hope it never comes to that. But yes i can see them saying skirts are a way that God helps us determine what is a "feminine" activity. :angry-banghead:

They hiked up 14K foot mountain peaks in skirts while doing "what some would call a vacation" in Colorado. There was one post where some other hiker remarked about their wearing skirts and thought it was "cool" but wonder if the meaning was lost on Sarah when she posted it.
