"If we get down on our faces and our knees before Almighty God, and we beg of him, not because we're pointing fingers at anybody else, but because of what we have allowed to happen... then I believe in November God will have mercy on our land and we will have a Renaissance of the values that made this country great," he added

Are they asking forgiveness for the ten years of war, the growing divide between rich and poor or the fact that many people go into debt to pay for needed medical care? Nope

We need to steal back the rainbow," Jackson said at the event. "We can't let the gays have it. We're the rainbow coalition. We're the army of God... We're are going to take back America in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ

Nope. Its the gays fault. Oh and Obama is anti religion and a socialist.

So if that's what it takes to get Romney to win, if we want Obama to win should we just keep living our lives in sin? That's more fun than prayer anyway.

So god approves of a Mormon is that what I am reading? Well I do agree some Christians and god reminds me of trying to find gold at the end of a rainbow.

I'll sin extra if it'll cause Obama to win. But why would God care so much about an American election? He has a whole big world out there. I think if you want Romney to loose, you should work hard on teh gay agenda whatever that may be. Apparently God doesn't like that  Also I don't want Romney to take back the rainbow, so I'll hold onto mine extra :D

Yep, that's what I'm reading as well. "Beg God for forgiveness and the Mormon we didn't want to begin with will win" would be more accurate. .

I think they would like to reclaim the rainbow - and turn it into a nice, white, snowy rainbow with no diversity.

I'll Beg God for Forgiveness.... When Romney Coughs Up His Tax Returns.

The one thing to come out of the whole tax returns thing is this: if you thought there was some plot to get a Mormon in the White House, then why is Harry Reid (Mormon) going after Mitt Romney (Mormon) for not making his tax returns public?

I'm thinking there's no plot here.

I didn't know anyone was claiming there was such a plot to tell you the truth.

Harry Reid's gone much further than that, actually. He's claiming a very reliable source has told him Romney paid zero taxes (via shelters and loopholes and god knows what else) for a decade. Last night on CNN, Dana Bash said she knows the source and confirmed it was a valid one.

Considering she's a political reporter and not likely one with contacts in the financial world, I'm wondering if somone in the McCain camp who saw those 23 years of tax records during the VP vetting has spillled the beans.

We'll make a deal: you give us our rights and you can have rainbow.

Beg God for forgivness so Romney can win? Excuse me, but weren't the Republicans the problem for the last 4 years? How in the hell could having Romney as President be ANY sort of improvement? Sometimes I just have to say...WTF!!!

"Beg God for Forgiveness and Romney Will Win"? Um, the only way Romney ( or Obama or whoever else ) will win is to vote, not beg God for forgiveness. I wonder if the fundies will only beg for forgiveness and not vote.

And here come the cray-cray in the full works. Doesn't the republican party realize that people like this make their party seem like it's full of a bunch of whackadoodle cray-cray fundies? Oh, wait...

Oh, I don't think there was a plot at all, but there are a lot of tinfoil-hatted KONSPIRACY "theorists" who think there's some sort of "plot" by the Mormon church to install a Mormon as president. I rather thing the Mormon hierarchy would like someone better than ole Mitt the Flip Flopper.
