Field trip for the Bates

Now that the Bates have their own show, TLC will need to find places to send them on what is sure to be the first of many trips. I have a suggestion:

I haven't been to this museum (it's pretty far from where I live), but I did see part of their collection a few years back when they lent it to the Charles H. Wright Museum of African-American History in Detroit. Most of the items dated back to the 1920s and 1930s, but some were recent. For me, the most disturbing image was a postcard of little black children who were about to be gobbled up by an alligator-- this is what passed for humor in this country eighty years ago.
