Looks like the Duggars added more recipes on their website. Bring on the cream of chicken soups and velveeta!

I'm eating food, I am afraid to look.

I hope they shared the secret recipe of the 'Duggar sauce' and JimBob'a BBQ sauce. (I'm already gagging)

I love my family enough to use the Duggar's recipes as a source of "never, ever cook this if you want your DH to live 10 more years".

To actually put that in my mouth? Nuh uh.

Almost every savory recipe has cream of chicken soup and tons of butter!

This just proves how totally checked out Michelle really is - I can't believe a mother who cared about her kids would feed them this garbage. I'm sure the sodium content is through the roof, too.

Male college students prepare more decent foods.

For a total cost of £9 today, me and my boyfriend have eaten the following:

Breakfast: Malt Wheats cereal with semi-skimmed milk

Lunch: Scrambled eggs on toast, beef mushrooms, tomatoes

Dinner: Carrot and Chickpea Pitta breads (from scratch) with soya yoghurt

Snacks: Grapes, Vanilla Yoghurt, a lot of tea

5 portions, very healthy and tasty too! :D

I don't think I've ever eaten soup with 2 pounds of velveeta in it. LOL at the comment that they cook like hungry stoners. So true! Famy's not smuggling is she?

Poor Man's Pizzas

...

Warm on plate in microwave for 1 min.

This reminds me of a cook book I saw somewhere: "Microwave Cooking For One"

So what I'm getting out of these recipes is that they like to use cream of crap and velveeta. Lots of velveeta. Suddenly I'm not feeling too bad about the bag of peanut M&M's I'm working on right now.

Why not mozzerella? Is that too elitist?

Maybe they could only get used cheddar. Save the difference you know.

My mom made a version of these only she used chocolate instead of butterscoth. They weren't that bad actually. She only made them during Christmas when we would have a ton of people at my house.

Cheesy Chicken & Rice Enchiladas

Enchilada filling:

5 c. cooked rice

1 c. sour cream

2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

2 cans cream of chicken soup

1 can green chili (blended)

1 can chicken (smashed w/fork)

2 t. salt

2 t. pepper

2 t. onion powder

Cheese Sauce:

2 cans cream of chicken soup

1 can green chilis (blended)

2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

1 can evaporated milk

Holy crap on a cracker, I would rather lick a salt block than eat one of their sodium overload on a plate! Do these people not realize how much sodium there is in at least one can of cream of chicken soup?! Add 3 more to the factor PLUS an extra 2t of salt and we're talking about a heart attack in the next few hours. I feel bad for guests who go over to their house for dinner--infamous tater tot salt block casserole on paper plates. fail.

These recipes make single mid-40s men's frozen meals look like novelle cuisine. The Microwave for 1 book cracked me up.

I remember them cooking soap. The bubbling, creamy soap looked better than poor man's pizza might look. I think I'd sooner eat that and burp bubbles than any of their velveeta infested horror meals.

I just don't get cheddar cheese on pizza. I've had pizza sans cheese but cheddar just would be weird. Just my opinion.

My hubby won't eat velveeta because as a kid they always used it for fishing bait and he doesn't see it as something humans should be eating.

It isn't. Is real cheese that unaffordable? I'm not talking triple cream brie with walnuts, all organic, from Southern France. I'm talking about something simple but made from cows milk only, actually.
