i knew I'd read the actual age span but couldn't remember where. Two of my kids are married to people 7 and 12 years older than they. My folks were 10 years apart and my mom's folks were about that. All intact marriages after a combined 125+ years but none arranged!!!!

Depending on how one goes about it, it seems to me that deathbed conversion attempts could be quite distressing and abusive. Ideally you'd want the dying person at peace with how his or her life turned out, and I could imagine that having some self-righteous jerk telling a dying person that everything they ever did was an abomination unto God might be upsetting.
