Starting a new thread for this one even though we have a Kansas thread in politics.

I'm a KU alum and I like basketball but YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.

Among the nearly 334,000 Kansas businesses that owe no state income taxes thanks to the Brownback administration’s 2012 tax cuts is one called BCLT II, LLC.

BCLT II happens to be owned by Bill Self, the legendary University of Kansas men’s basketball head coach.

Wait so they did away with taxes for LLC?  Seriously?  What the everliving hell? (or someone tell JB Duggar so he can try to get Arkansas to do the same thing) Wait there's more also subchapter S corps pay no taxes (and we wonder why the state is broke).  (The issue is are they an employee or an independent contractor and high profile coaches are often both)

By the way, KU Football Coach David Beaty and KState Football Coach Bill Snyder also benefit.
