I never expected such a sloppy and superficial article from the NYT. Other than mentioning the Joyce book, it does not even touch the abuses of these evangelical adoptors. According to this article, most of the blame lies with corruption in the home country, and the evangelical adoptors are the victims (maybe the children, too). Lot of truth that seems to have been held back. :hand:
