This show is my new guilty pleasure. Husband started watching on netflix and while I missed most of season one, we finally caught up all the way to the end of season four as of today - new season is about to start!. I'm not sure why I like it so much as I usually can't tolerate a lot of real life type violence, but I'm hooked.

Well I can't handle a lot of violence either but if I'm looking at that sexy Charlie Hunnam I think I could just focus on that and ignore the violence. ;) Anyway, I've seen it a couple times but probably not enough to have a real conversation about it.

Love this show! The violence doesn't bother me, and I love that creator Ryan Sutter tries to balance in the onscreen nudity. Last year there was a Charlie Hunnam bare butt shot, and Sutter tweeted that it was for the women who suffered throught the Ima (porn star character) nudity the week before.

If you've got a smart phone, get the SOA app. It used to cost money, now it's updated and free (all the better to get you ready for the season premiere Sept. 11).

If you don't have a smart phone, search youtube for the extras. You'll learn a bit about the First 9, what happened when the guys were in prison, etc. A little more backstory, a little more entertainment.

I just read that Jesse James (right name?) the guy who was married to Sandra Bullock and loves Nazis, was slated for a small part, and Ron Perlman said he would quit if they let him on the set. Yay!

This is how me and my husband watch really good series. We used to borrow them from blockbusters though and have marathon weekends. Sopranos, lost, now we wait for another season of Mad Men to come on Netflix....it's taking forever!

Saw all the seasons so far, just watched this weeks episode and loved it! Yeah, the hair is bad but I liked the plots and can't wait to see where they go this season.

Kathey Segall (sp??) is brilliant in this. Hard to believe this is the same actress that played in "MWC", one of the older shows that I loathe the most. My ex-fiancé liked it and would watch it pretty much every night at 11PM while it was on syndication. Urgh.

I recently marathoned all of season 1 on netflix, and just last night watched s2e1...holy SHIT.

Reading random fb chatter, it seems Gemma becomes less...uh...likeable, but as of the beginning of s2, i think she kicks ass.

Also, let's not forget the full butt nudity of Charlie in said s2e1, kids. It was...long and fabulous. heh.

Season 5's got new opening credits (Piney got replaced), it's a sign things are changing this season.

I can't read this whole thread! Must not...

For some reason, I've fallen behind. I bought last season on iTunes and then never watched it. I need to get caught up.

I got sucked in initially because I love bikes (I have a Harley Street Bob myself), and then because Katey Segal is awesome. It doesn't hurt that Jax is hot in a "needs a bath" kind of way.
