Janelle's sister Ashleigh confirmed that Janelle placed Ensley with some friends down the road, but it doesn't appear to be a CPS-dictated situation, from what I can gather. My gut is that Janelle is choosing David over her two-year-old. Dear lord.

The Ashley has just posted that the judge has signed paperwork work to remove Maryssa and Ensley. Ashleigh got some of the information wrong, CPS did say to her that Ensley couldn't stay on the land and advised her to move with Ensley, she ditched her with friends and went back but she was wrong when she said Ensley had already been taken.

The best I can say about this is at least Jenelle got Ensley off the property. Even if she did literally ditch or abandon her, at least that poor baby isn’t in that house right now. It could be easier for CPS to get her now. That’s pretty much the absolute bare minimum though and not worth praising in any way, shape, or form. Hopefully both girls are taken somewhere safe very soon.

Turns out that Ensley isn't with friends and David and Jenelle have left the land with both children. Not a good situation, Jenelle is posting on social media trying to fight her sister so they will be able to track her down probably and if they run it's kidnapping. I hope both girls are soon in safe hands those two in jail.

Both girls and Jenelle are in danger, David is dangerous and I fear he will kill them all and himself before he would hand over the children. I find it hard to feel any sympathy for Jenelle but I still don't want her to come to any harm.

This is turning worst-case-scenario quickly. I don't envy law enforcement in their county over the next few days. I truly hope that everyone gets out of this situation physically unscathed--sadly, from the sounds of it, these two little girls have already undergone serious trauma from what it sounds like has already happened.

Whelp, it's Jenelle, so that's kinda her brand...

But, unflippantly, I really hope this ends well. The only defense I have of Jenelle at this point is that I really think David is dangerous and she is probably very scared and just going along with things. She also has self-esteem somewhere down in the earth's core. I just wish there weren't so many children involved.

 I thought it was very telling when they started homeschooling Maryssa. They gave some BS excuse about why they were but to me it just seemed to be another red flag. She’s definitely old enough to speak out about what she sees or what is being done to her or the other kids and they probably thought she was a liability.  I can see David  being concerned about only losing his children and by homeschooling her he is the ultimate authority over her.  This is such a scary situation for those two remaining kids and I feel terribly for them.  It’s like we’re watching a bad movie but in real time.

My thinking is if that the girls do get taken by CPS, having no kids in the house would be a huge trigger back into her drug addiction

At this point that’s not something I’m concerned about. I don’t want anything terrible to happen to Jenelle and I don’t want her to slip back into old habits either - but the safety of the kids has to come first now. I don’t want to make light of addiction because its a complex subject and can be extremely difficult to fight, but Jenelle is an adult now and she’s responsible for her own choices. Maryssa and Ensley are just innocent kids. They need to be protected, regardless of the impact it might have on Jenelle.

I checked out Jenelle's mother's instagram and man, Teen Mom leg humpers are awful. So many people telling her how awful she is for "stealing" Jace and how Jenelle deserves another chance. To be fair the comments were made before this happened but still, it's not about what Jenelle deserves, it's about what's best for Jace. And, regardless of Jenelle's actions, leaving the only home and parent his ever known is not what's best for him. Jesus. I hope they're just young.

Babs didn't steal Jace, Jenelle started to leave Jace with Babs when he was two weeks old to go and party and CPS got involved when she left baby Jace on the drug dealers porch. This happened in between her episode and TM2 starting and MTV still chose to film her over other girls on that season. Jenelle then waited until she got with Nathan to even file to get him back and blew any chance of getting him back when Ensley tested positive for THC at birth, the courts had set a rule that in order to get custody back she had to be clean for at least year and no arrests for a year. When it went to mediation Babs was able to prove via Ensley's positive test at birth that she hadn't stayed clean and she had little choice but to settle for weekend and school holiday's visitation.

I seen that rumours are circulating that David's mum currently has them, they need removed from her because she is no better. Babs is willing to take Ensley and Maryssa's grandparents want her back. I just can't imagine that David doesn't bully and abuse his mother the same way he does the other women in his life. I hope CPS is keeping a close eye on those girls, if David's mother has them. 

Grace Reports dropped a video on all this, the major points:

1. The two daughters are being cared for my David's mother. Grace says David's mother went on a Facebook rant defending him as a dog-killer. Apparently she says it was due to a "thyroid issue." She didn't clarify if it was the dog's thyroid issue or David's.

2. David got thrown out of supervised visitation with the girls because he was being hostile, yelling, and fighting with the caseworkers. 

3. They're supposed to go to court today to see what they need to do to regain custody. My money is on them not doing what they need to do, but that is my personal opinion and not Grace's. 

4. Janelle was apparently given the choice to leave the house with the kids, but she chose to stay and they had to remove the kids. The kids are just not supposed to be around David. 

5. David has shaved his beard and cut his hair. 

6. Apparently after Kaiser's grandmother went to get him at daycare, Janelle and David rushed over to the daycare to get Ensley and David verbally abused the caseworker that was there.

How many chances do they think this chick deserves? She's gotten more chances than anyone I've ever known.

It's not like she was mother of the year but left Jace in the car alone one time to run an errand and lost custody. We have years of documented evidence (testimony, charges, and video) of her failing him as a parent. Just recently she followed a random truck and was ready to get into an altercation with him with Jace in the car. 

She also went on to have two more kids with two different (questionable) men while not holding down a job or first rebuilding her relationship with Jace. She is also 27 now. Which is young. But not "I'm still a kid and my brain isn't fully formed" young. Plenty of 27 year olds are able to be responsible parents to their children.

She has been on TV almost 10 years and 27 year old Jenelle is no different to 17 year old Jenelle. Jace is 10 in August and she has never had custody of him since he was a few months old and when she did have him, she would ditch him with Babs, random friends or leave him on the drug dealers porch while she bought herself weed and whatever other drug she could get her hands on. 

She has chosen men over Jace time and time again and now she has chosen to stay with David even if that means losing custody of Kaiser and Ensley. 

People still defend her and use the fact that she was a teen when she had Jace. She was one of the older mum's on the show. Taylor and Izabella from season three were both only 14 when they got pregnant and both managed to maintain custody of their children and not get arrested, graduate high school and college and both work and provide for their children. Jenelle and deadbeat dad's Adam and Ryan from the show have had 10 years and none of them have grown one bit but continue to bring children that they won't take care of into this mess. They all have a habit of blaming the people raising their children for all their issues too.

The Ashley has an update on day one of the custody hearing:

Jenelle was told that since the case was against David and not her, that she could get Kaiser and Ensley back if either her or David moved from their house and lived separately. So far it looks like she declined that offer, because taking care of her own kids herself is too much trouble for her.

Babs, Nathan and Whitney, Maryssa's mother were all at court. Babs is wanting custody of Ensley, Nathan wants custody of Kaiser and Whitney or her parents are seeking custody of Maryssa back.

The case is continued for tomorrow and the children will remain where they currently are. Kaiser with Nathan, Maryssa and Ensley with Laura, David's mother.

Someone claiming to be related to a photographer who was covering the case outside the court had tweeted claims that David was being abusive to the press and other people outside the court at the breaks in session. I usually take these claims with a pinch of salt but David is a bully and doesn't like things not going his way and I can believe that he started kicking off when he realised that he wasn't going to be getting any of the children back and probably won't ever get them back if he doesn't complete anger management and parenting classes and stops getting into trouble threatening people.

Grace Reports Update:

1. The judge apparently ripped into David about his bullshit excuses for homeschooling Maryssa.

     A. Judge is not having that David is choosing to homeschool instead of work and pay his child support on his other son. As a side note, I am horrified there's yet another kid involved in this situation I didn't know about. Judge thinks it's bullshit mainly because there are other kids on the property who go off to regular school, making it mighty suspicious that David is refusing to work to homeschool just one of them. 

    B. After the judge told him off for that, David claimed he couldn't work outside because he has vitiligo. Which is a sold excuse, I guess, if all the jobs in all the world were outside. He's also apparently an avid hunter, shooter, and loves to build stuff outside, and it doesn't keep him from doing that stuff. 

2. David  made $60,000 on Teen Mom last year. Janelle made a whopping $400,000 on Teen Mom last year. These people are so financially boned right now without MTV.

3. Janelle paid off David's back child support. Olivia, the mother of David's son, stopped visitation after the incident wherein David beat up Janelle ad hurt her collarbone. In retaliation, David stopped paying child support. Judge also pointed out that David could sell one of his many firearms, boats, cars, etc. to pay his child support.

These people, man. I knew they were terrible, but wow, I'd missed just how repugnant they'd really gotten.

It is seriously amazing that this barely literate, unskilled mother of three made nearly half a million dollars last year to have people film her life. And all she had to do to keep this gravy train running was to kick David out after the dog incident. And she still put his dumb ass first. 

(I actually don't think she appreciates just how much money she has lost, and thinks money just effortlessly flows to you as an adult. Times are about the get rough.)

I guess her ability to manage money is pretty much zero and she has very little saved. She seems to have poor insight and foresight, so I can't imagine she ever realized that the money would stop flowing in.

She took a large mortgage out on her house and has car loans out on her cars, when she could have bought both outright. She blows her money on drugs, trips away and what ever crap David wants and is now panicking because she has no income apart from the click bait she gets paid to post on her social media.

Jenelle has a certificate in medical assistance but she didn't pass the state exam and no reputable hospital or doctors office is going to hire someone with her reputation. When you Google her a collection of mug shots or leaked nudes appear. She may try and do a Farrah and have a porn tape 'leaked'.

I’m really amazed, given her history and drug offenses, that she’d qualify to take the licensing exam. What a complete mess. And I feel two ways about Barb raising two more kids. It’s great they’re safe and I don’t doubt they’re loved, but Barb played a role in making Janelle this way, kwim?
