I went to the lake today with a family that I know. While we were there we met a family with 14 children. They only had 7 with them so I was surprised to find out there were more. The mother was wearing a long denim skirt and a shirt that said: "I love my husband." All the girls were wearing long skirts. She homeschools them while her husband works as a contractor to support them all. They had a 6 month old baby so I am sure if they will have more. They didn't go swimming. I am assuming for modesty reasons. Anyway, I kinda felt like I met a smaller version of the Duggars.

14 is heaps! How old was the couple? Maybe they will rival the Duggars. I wonder where the other kids were. I suppose it's good if they get time alone.

You can't swim at most beaches where I live without a wetsuit unless you love cold water. I still go to the beach to walk on the sand, sit on driftwood, and watch the waves and boats and scenery.
