Fundie's religious bigotry doesn't trump science & education

A court ruled against fundie light woman, who refused to do work with LBGTQ community that is required for her to earn a Master's degree in Psychology.

I'm glad her lawsuit failed - hooray for common sense! - but fundie Christians' hatred for gay people always baffles me so much. I'm no Christian, but I know the NT pretty well and if anything I suspect Jesus would've absolutely been in favor of gay rights had he walked the earth today. These fundies always quote Leviticus - but then on the other hand they ignore half of the OTHER rules Leviticus sets because 'Christ did away with that'.

ETA: And I personally do not think that any religious beliefs are sufficient 'reason' to allow racism, sexism, homophobia, etc. Freedom of speech is great - but not where hate speech is concerned.
