Christmas tree question

So I have puppy who is not quite trained yet. Was supposed to put up a tree last week but now I'm wondering. Should I get a small artificial tree instead that can go on the console? I remember someone else's dog peeing under the tree and ruining a present a long time ago. I'd hate to put her behind a gate for a month. She's part of the family. But she's going to go nuts with the presents and the ornaments. We wouldn't be able to leave her in the room for a minute.

Don't know why I'm posting about Xmas trees. I really should be part of the Jew Crew but I was raised this way with a Catholic dad and a white tree with blue bulbs and Santa.

Your puppy is like a baby...The Christmas Tree and presents should be puppy proofed for the sanity and safety of all concerned. :-)
