The whole thing with the name Anger is reminding me of Hyacinth Bucket from Keeping Up Appearances.

The other family that changed their last name at the same time had the last name Heck.  They were also in a leadership position.  So yea, two of the top leader families went by Anger and Heck.  That didn't sound very godly for a set of Remnant leaders.  So changes were made.  Tedd and Candance Anger changed the pronunciation to 'On-Jay' and the Heck's changed their last name to Maxwell.

 

*The Heck's/Maxwell's (and an additional set of leaders) actually left Remnant a handful of years ago in the midst of all that was going on with Michael Shamblin.  They knew too much and even they (devoted leaders who sang Gwen's praises constantly in public) couldn't take it anymore.  Sadly, the rest of the Remnant members didn't know the details/the extent of all that went on behind the scenes.

 

And I'm sure Gwen made these name changes seem all holy, pointing out that God renamed people too (Abram/Abraham ... Sarai/Sarah). Just wow.

Besides the Heck/Maxwell family (which I think I remember -- was he a police officer and did he give a 911 testimony in one of the class videos?), which other family left at that time?

And when you say what was going on with Michael, was that affairs? Can  you comment on the nature of these affairs (women in the church? Outside the church)? Was there more going on beyond that?

This is one from Feb. 2017. Nothing but bone. Every photo on her Facebook page has her in long sleeves and in long pants or a long skirt/dress, even at the beach.

She’s probably very cold most of the time. When you have practically no fat on your body you get cold easily.

omg - she reminds me of the CryptKeeper - better skin but still the CryptKeeper!

As for long sleeves on the beach - it could be she allergic to the sun, like me.  I hate wearing long sleeves out and about but have to unless I want to have an unrelenting itch for 6 weeks. However, considering how skinny she is, she maybe all bones and be cold (as someone mentioned) or have Body dysmorphic disorder (again as others have mentioned) and she thinks she is fat and needs to cover up.

Elizabeth looks emaciated. I don’t know how she has had 4 kids. The clothes hang off her. She bragged on Gwen’s stage that she lost 30 lbs after pregnancy. The dark lipstick also doesn’t do her any favors.

Thanks to @sajetime, I fell down a bit of a rabbit hole. Looking at Elizabeth's FB, the last time she had cheeks (vs only cheekbone) was in 2012. However, she has nothing that I can see for 2013 and 2014. In 2015 she appears in her current Skeletor configuration. I kinda feel sad for her. There were earlier pictures where she had a genuine smile and she looked fresh and lovely. In more recent ones she looks like a shell of a human, emotionally speaking.  I can't even begin to fathom what goes on in her world. But I stand by my original observation -- she has "the look" -- the look of one who is dying.

Looking at her Facebook she was always quite thin but this look is haunting.  The closed mouth smile is disturbing me too when in earlier photos she had a nice smile.  There is clearly something going on with her..

The Ritchie family left alongside the Heck/Maxwell families. From what I have seen and such (talked with one of the Ritchies a while ago) they are doing very well. I am very happy for them!

As far as the nature of Michael’s affairs, information pertaining to that and such, I covered that a few pages ago in this thread. In short he was involved with several women in and out of the church. He also had a very bad porn addiction that would be swept under the rug constantly, and what Erin had/has to suffer through(out) their marriage. Gwen and leadership intentionally swept this under the rug for the “sake of the kingdom”. They even blamed and cast out the victims from the church...

Wow. I knew it was happening but this makes it real for me. It also makes me angry; she’s manipulated and destroyed so many people and families in the name of purity/godliness. And now she casts it all aside when it’s no longer convenient, does whatever she damn well wants and twists scripture to defend it. Wow.

She’s one evil S.o.B, isn’t she? I can’t believe @RFsurvivor and I endured well over a decade+ of she and her pawn’s mind twisting, reality warping, manipulative, deceitful, sick, twisted games...

I rarely become legitimately angry over anything now these days (I am so much more peaceful now, despite my past and the subject matter of this thread). This however...this “wedding” has gotten me into a borderline rage. There are so many marriage abuse, sexual assault and evil doings that she has supported and covered in the past that many folks here in this thread don’t know. She has hidden so much from even the most prominent, highest ranking members of her cult. Hell, her own son even hates her and has felt that way for years...

She has destroyed lives, she has destroyed marriages and homes. The amount of things she, her leadership and her family has done to RF members (current and former) is absolutely sickening. The amount and gravity of things she has done to her own leadership is despicable.  And now she gets to have her cake and eat it too, while abusing more and more people? It’s absolutely sickening...

And there’s Hannah and Will Langsdon trying to say how happy they are together — this a couple months before the marriage ended.

In that picture from Feb 2017 Elizabeth looks as if she's loosing her hair.  It is so so thin and lank and lifeless. Her hairline is much farther back than in other photos.

I know that anorexia does a number on your skin and hair, but she looks horrible.  If that's her hair, I suggest she borrow some of Gwen's wigs.

How old is Gwen? Never mind wiki says about 63.

When I just typed in her last name, it dawned on me her first 4 letters spell sham. (I know I'm slow) but she had the audacity to have 2 people change their name or pronunciation but her name literally starts with "sham" which is exactly what she is.

Her hair is falling out and pulled back.  Which does not help.  nor does the look of utter misery on her face.
