American version of Qur'an experiment

There was a Dutch video where people disguised the Bible as a Quran, and here's the American version of the experiment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riDlxCvFZWw

It was done in NYC and while one guy seemed upset at the reveal a lot of people actually defended Islam.

(Personally, while I'm glad those people didn't start bashing Muslims, I don't think I would respond to hearing that a non-virgin woman should be stoned with, "Well, I respect their beliefs.")

I still want to see a version of this done in the South, or at a SBC converence or something.

It would be an interesting experiment to try, but personally I'd wear a bullet proof vest under my clothes.

It would be more interesting to see the experiment done in, say, Alabama. Heads might roll, though.

I suspect fundies, no matter how legalistic in their lives (no pork, women not signing contracts, whatever) would say 

"this is old testament, and that is why we are not under the Law, Praise Jesus" or something similar... thus dismissing the fact the statements are the same.....
