Court Denies Asylum to Home-Schooling German Family

In some ways, I feel bad for this family. I think the courts ruling was the correct ruling. But, I get the sense that they were brought over here by at least one home school organization for political reasons. I am sure these groups would love to hear the supreme court say that the right to homeschool your kids is a fundamental right. I think that the groups that supported them need to be investigated. There was probably a large amount of monetary support behind their decision to move to the US instead of another EU country.

^ They have been used by HSLDA. They could have easily gone to Austria, France, UK and several other European countries. They have the legal right to live just about anywhere in the EU. This was about politics, not human rights and I'm glad the courts slapped HSLDA down.
