So Trump’s defense is going to be:

“I didn’t know I had to pay taxes on that, nobody knows they have to pay taxes on that, how was I supposed to know I had to pay taxes on that? That was Weisselberg’s job. I just signed the papers he put in front of me, it’s all his fault!”

Probably - but he still signed the papers, and unless US tax law is substantially different from here that still makes him liable.

Oh yes, no matter what, he's the owner of the organization, he's Weisselberg's boss, and therefore he's responsible -- and accountable.

I thought nobody knows more about taxes than Donald Trump.

Today on July 4 let’s all take a moment to say FUCK TRUMP. And all he stands for. And all his sycophants. And all Branch Trumpvidians who still support the stick of Fuck.  And fuck every last traitor who assaulted the Capitol on January 6.

I just found out thanks to Facebook that a former classmate of mine moved from Colorado to Florida & the hashtag was floridagotitright. Colorado didn’t vote for Trump & Florida did. I am disgusted if that is the main reason she moved. Part of me hopes it not. But I’m not sure.

Our current neighbors, who are white nationalists/sovereign citizens/trumpers, really wanted to move to Idaho.  Unfortunately for them, Idaho real estate is getting too expensive due to all these like-minded individuals wanting to establish compounds there, so now their sights are set on Missouri.  Sorry, Idaho.  Sorry, Missouri.  Our former neighbors (quiverfull fundie) also plan to move to Idaho, so "moving to Idaho" is becoming codeword for something.  Again--sorry, Idaho.

We need some better neighbors, lol!

Trump spoke in Sarasota last night.  There's a video of a plane flying over with "Loser Palooza" scrolling underneath the wings.  As much as I enjoyed that, Trump was still speaking during the video.  He said that people were "coming in" to the country and bringing all their relatives.  He said they're coming in "by the hundreds of thousands -- by the millions, by the way".

Honestly, how do the Trumpers still believe him about anything?  By the millions?  You think that would probably show up even on Fox News, wouldn't you?

Since I'd already heard a snippet, I decided to listen to a little bit of his speech.  On the border:  He says that the Biden administration has obliterated American sovereignty and that some of the people who are crossing the border were released from prison to do so.  He fought the "radical globalists" and "we won, won, won -- we won so much!  And then we had a rigged election, unfortunately."  He pauses to allow the crowd time to boo.  He says that if he'd had another "couple of months" they would have completed the border wall.

I have to say the Trump handlers are learning a little.  They seem to have placed all the black attendees on risers behind Trump so it looks more diverse.

The radical left is apparently letting tens of thousands of dangerous criminals out of prison and now they're leaving innocent Americans at the 'mercy of ruthless killers'.  "The bloodshed is beyond belief."  Good news for red state people, though.  Apparently, crime is only rising in Democrat-led areas.  He talks about people being shot in great numbers and says that most people don't notice the numbers because they're busy with their own lives and having a great time.  "By the way, are you all having a great time?"  Enthusiastic response.  (Yeah.  That was weird even for Donny.)  People have been asking him about bringing back the rallies and he's so glad he did because Florida is great and he won Florida "by a lot".  People start chanting "We want Trump."  (Just shut up, people.  You've got him right there in front of you.  Let it go.)

He goes back to the election.  He says that some "lightweight" put up hundreds of millions in television advertising to run against him but he still "won in a landslide".  "Because, ultimately, the people are really smart."  "If you want law and order, you must vote Republican -- or MAGA, we love MAGA."  (He's saying it in an exaggerated manner.)  "We have some good ones, right?  America First, Save America... But there's something about MAGA.  It just keeps coming back."

He moves on to the crime problem in NY which gives him an entry into his whole "poor me" routine.  The prosecutors aren't going after human traffickers or murderers.  Nope.  The law is being weaponized against political opponents.  Record murders up by a rate "that isn't even possible".  Yet they "shamefully target ME".   The Mueller investigation -- "They spent 48 millions dollars but, at the end, they said there was no collusion."  "Friend of mine said, 'You have to be the cleanest guy in history.' "  (Nope.  Not believing anyone said that to you, assface.)

Sorry.  I'm only 27 minutes into his 90 minute speech and I can't take it any more.  Anyone else wants to try, it's here:

Just wanted to point out that they are wearing "Blacks for Trump 2020" t-shirts, which means they are connected to Michael Symonette.

This article is from 2017:

Quote

Symonette’s conspicuous placement behind Trump’s podium at many rallies appears to be an optics exercise for an administration that’s been plagued with accusations of racism. Even a cursory glance at this supporter’s history is enough to raise questions about his proximity to the commander in chief.

But it also seems that he might be exploiting the attention he gets as the Blacks for Trump creator on stage behind Trump to attract followers for his deeply racist and wildly unhinged spiritual views.

For starters, his trademark T-shirt lists a website Gods2.com, which redirects viewers to honestfact.com, a page teeming with outlandish conspiracy theories, compared to which Alex Jones is a voice of calm reason. He thinks the Cherokee Indians were “the real KKK slave masters” and that Hillary Clinton is secretly plotting with ISIS to kill all black and white women in America.

His alternative history holds that black and white people were in the Americas before the Native Americans and must unite against the Cherokee Indians. A display of the Confederate battle flag is captioned “Cherokee Democrat Flag.”.

Gods2.com currently takes you to limitlesstruth.com where you'll find things like this:

The internetz have gotten a hold of fuck face's latest social media outlet

Quote

Nary a month after the dramatic implosion of former president (and current Twitter refugee) Donald Trump’s attempted blogging career, the septuagenarian authoritarian’s “team” of grifting enablers has launched its latest attempt at a social network for folks who are just too darn patriotic for mainstream social media...and also for all sorts of Sonic the Hedgehog porn.

The unpleasantly named GETTR—Hillary Clinton lives rent-free in that dude’s head—is essentially a Twitter clone. Its slogan, “the marketplace of ideas,” suggests that inexplicably fence-sitting centrists might find it appealing as well, and that’s particularly true if they’re into furry vore artwork and memes about Sonic the Hedgehog getting pregnant.

That keeps coming up, doesn’t it? It seems that GETTR’s early launch (it was originally promised for Independence Day) has attracted a variety of leftist riff-raff from TikTok, weird Twitter and the like, and they’ve embraced the unsavory, Trump-associated birdsite wannabe as the perfect place to share degenerate hentai, furry porn, leftist Sonic memes, and stock photos of pudgy, aged men in their underwear.

So far GETTR’s moderation safeguards haven’t stood a chance against the NSFW Communist mpreg onslaught, which has flooded venerable tags like #QAnon with the sorts of sexuality-threatening furotica that pass through MAGA uncles’ minds during Thanksgiving rants. It seems likely that a fair few decent, upstanding conspiracy theorists and proto-fascists are rapidly being forced to come to terms with the existence of a large chunk of the shitposting internet, or at least to acknowledge it outside of their secret bookmarks.

I have yet to see anyone on camera cry about this.  The Trumpies are angry but they're not standing around with outstretched arms and crying.  I'm not sure whether it's Donald with the overactive imagination or just whoever is doing the typing for him.

Not surprised that this guy is a buddy of TFG: "Trump friend and golfing partner charged with misdemeanor indecent assault"

Quote

A friend and golfing partner of former president Donald Trump — who gained notoriety for using that friendship to lobby Trump’s administration — was charged with indecent assault last week in Pennsylvania on allegations he groped one of his dental patients, according to court documents.

Albert Hazzouri Jr., a 65-year-old dentist from Scranton, Pa., is best known for a 2017 note he wrote Trump, using stationery from Trump’s own Mar-a-Lago Club, to push a proposal for an oversight committee on dental spending.

The note, which addressed Trump as “Dear King,” came to symbolize the way that Trump blended business with government, giving his customers and friends an audience to lobby for their private causes.

In charging documents filed last week, police said Hazzouri had groped a female patient after a dental procedure in May.

In an affidavit, Scranton Police Detective Dina Albanesi wrote that Hazzouri offered to walk the woman to her car. Then — when the two were in a stairwell — Hazzouri allegedly told the patient to “get on his back.” The woman told him no, police said.

“Hazzouri backed up into her, wrapped his hands around her and grabbed her buttocks and squeezed them,” Albanesi wrote. At the bottom of the stairs, she wrote, Hazzouri also grabbed the woman’s breasts and groin.

The woman went to police headquarters the same day, according to a police affidavit. Albanesi had the woman call Hazzouri on a recorded line.

“He stated it was a mistake and [he] didn’t realize he did it until after it was over,” the detective wrote. “He apologized and offered her free dental needs as long as she lives.”

The three misdemeanor charges against Hazzouri each carry a penalty of up to two years in prison, or up to a $5,000 fine. He was released on $75,000 bail, according to court records, and his next hearing is July 20. The charges against Hazzouri were first reported by the Times-Tribune newspaper in Scranton.

Paul Walker, an attorney for Hazzouri, declined to comment Tuesday, and the case is not yet at a point where Hazzouri would enter a plea. The case is being prosecuted by the Lackawanna County district attorney’s office, which did not respond to a request for comment.

A spokeswoman for Trump’s political operation, Liz Harrington, issued a brief statement about the case Tuesday: “President Trump knows nothing about this.”

The Trump Organization did not respond to a request for comment.

Hazzouri appears to be a longtime customer of Trump’s businesses. He appears in photos of Mar-a-Lago’s New Year’s Eve party in 2015. In 2017, he was listed in U.S. Golf Association records as belonging to Trump’s golf clubs in Bedminster, N.J. — about 90 miles from Scranton — and West Palm Beach, Fla. (The association no longer makes those listings public).

In 2016, during a campaign rally in Scranton, Trump appeared to call out Hazzouri from the stage.

“Stand up, Albert. Where the hell are you, Albert? Stand up, Albert. He’s a good golfer, but I’m actually a better golfer than him. Right?” Trump said.

After Trump took office, The Washington Post reported that Hazzouri had become one of Trump’s regular golfing partners.

In 2017, Hazzouri seemed to use his connection to Trump to push a policy proposal from the American Dental Association. In a note on Mar-a-Lago stationery that was first reported by ProPublica, Hazzouri wrote to Trump: “Good seeing you this weekend.”

In the note, Hazzouri referenced federal spending on dental care for veterans, Native Americans and children. “Let’s set up a meeting with the American Dental Association and create an oversight committee to stop the waste,” Hazzouri wrote, ending, “Love you President.”

Trump wrote on the note “Send to David S. at the V.A.,” apparently a reference to then-Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin. ProPublica reported that Hazzouri said he had been acting on behalf of the dentists group. In the end, ProPublica reported, the effort fizzled, and no meeting was set up.

The next year, Hazzouri also used his connection to Trump when seeking a dentistry license in Florida, according to a letter he wrote to the state. Hazzouri said he was “the dentist and personal friend of President Trump,” and that Trump wanted him to set up an office in the state to treat the first family.

That effort, first reported by Politico, also came to naught. Hazzouri did not obtain a Florida license.

^ Didn’t realize he grabbed a woman until after it was over? Is that the moron defense? If so, it’s worse than the Twinkie defense.

Fuck knob said he is suing Twitter and Facebook

Quote

Former President Donald Trump said Wednesday he is suing Facebook, Twitter and Google, as well as their respective CEOs Mark Zuckerberg, Jack Dorsey and Sundar Pichai.

Trump, who has a history of threatening legal action but not always following through, made the announcement at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, alongside two leaders from America First Policy Institute, the pro-Trump nonprofit group that is supporting the lawsuits.

Shortly after the press conference wrapped, Trump’s political entities started sending out fundraising messages that touted the lawsuits in their appeals for money.

One such text message, written in Trump’s voice, includes a link to his joint fundraising committee Save America, which also raises money for other Republican political initiatives.

Yeah good luck with that Donnie.  It'll probably last as long as all your other suits have.

I remember back when Sarah Palin's fans were trimming their grocery budgets so they could donate to her. I'm sure some of those same people are eating beans and rice so they can give money to Trump.

I have an AOL email address. It's the one I give to companies that spam me. The others get the email I actually use or my professional address. I certainly wouldn't use AOL for business purposes.
