Local Pharmacy forces Pro-Life views

Has anyone asked the pharmacist how he (or she) feels about erectile dysfunction drugs?

Maybe the paper says in really small print: "We only support the use of these drugs for people who are trying for a baby-- if you're not trying to get someone pregnant, then take your heathen non-procreative sex urges to another pharmacy!"

I think I'd take my business elsewhere, except for my birth control. That one, I'd be sure to have filled there. Because I'm contrary that way.

Nice to see Fred Nile has stuck his opinion in too:

Very disappointed at Soul Pattinson for dropping one of their chemists due to his religious beliefs http://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/health ... 6826926272 … via @gracekoelma

Is that even legal?

If they sell Viagra without giving a sermon to men, they are extra gross sexist assholes. :angry-banghead:

Dear pharmacy people: women are going to continue to buy all the birth control they want. Why? Because: Fuck You.

Here are some tiny violins, enjoy. :violin: :violin: :violin: :violin:

While passing them a note with your payment stating explicitly that you're using it for birth control right?

I'd do the same.

As soon as I had it in my hot little hand, I'd inform them that I was taking it for ovarian cancer prevention AND birth control and that they don't get to make my decisions for me, thank you very much.

Then, the next time I was there, when they would surely recognize me and refuse me, I'd call the media and excoriate them for denying a woman the medication to prevent a deadly cancer and demand an answer to the question of how pro-life is it to try and kill someone by denying them medical treatment? I'd plaster it all over the media twelve ways from Sunday. And I'd enjoy it. But I'm a bitch that way.

Then I'd take my BC (and all other) business elsewhere and spend spare time protesting in front of their doors. Because, see above.

Are they going to refuse filling pain medicine scripts because they can also be used to get high? Where does the judgment end?

"We realize you have a choice in where to fill your prescription meds but if you are going to pay us to bring pleasure into your life, we recommend that you see to your evil birth control and opiate needs in the nearest back ally. Be sure to ask for "Bad Larry". :shifty-kitty:
