Is Exodus International the one where two of the co-founders fell in love with each other and denounced the organisation?

What is he referring to here? How did Exodus International positively affect anyone, let alone thousands of people?

Yep, they sure did! Michael Bussee and Gary Cooper (not the actor) left Exodus and had a commitment ceremony in 1982 complete with exchanged rings and vows. They remained together until Gary's death in 1991.

John Paulk was also president of Exodus International at one time. He renounced the efforts of ex-gay groups and proudly came out earlier this year.

FYI the Lisa Ling show is on TONIGHT. I find the timing odd and obviously it seems that Exodus (and whatever the "new" name is) is looking for publicity. Am I the only one who is very skeptical and feels a giant SCAM coming on??? ("We're the nicer, friendlier version of exgay ministries! Come in, even if you are comfortable with your sexuality!" and after an emotional connection is made they remind you that their speshul Bible interpretor says ghey iz teh badz.)
