Dear Prudence's disturbing response to marital rape

I interpreted the comment differently.

Too many times, sexual assault is not seen as an assault due to the victim not sustaining visible physical injury. That was my point.

You were the one that claimed "Rape does NOT always include "violence and assault"." I was just pointing out that like Creeky Steel was pointing out that rape is violence and assault. Saying or implying otherwise, regardless of what other people think, is a gross misstatement of what actually goes on. Because whether someone has marks from it or not, rape is never anything by a violent sexual assault.
