Serven baby count?

Servenclan's Christmas blogpost shows the six unmarried children waiting to be called upstairs for their gifts (youngest goes first) and mentions "missing 10 precious persons."

The other sister + her tall husband + little Bella = 3

Andrew + new wife + unborn baby = 3

Rebecca + Loomis + unborn baby = 3

Grand subtotal: 9

Thus I'm guessing that the other sister.... Beth! and her husband is Jon. .... is also expecting.

OK, that's my maths class for the morning/day/week. They're my gateways, I still have to keep up with them.

I am pretty sure that Beth is pregnant. I think it must be mentioned in the blog somewhere? I can remember thinking that Beth's pregnancy would be difficult for Rebecca.

Keep in mind that many of these quiverfull families do count miscarriages as children, now in heaven. I am not sure what the criteria is for which children count, though. Some count every miscarriage and practically every late period as a pregnancy, and others do not.

Michelle Duggar had that miscarriage after Josh and before Jana and JD, but although she cried every time it was mentioned, she did not seem to count that pregnancy as a baby. The show is named 19 Kids and Counting and has never included that miscarriage in the numbering. However, with the miscarriage Michelle had recently, baby Jubilee Shalom received a J-name, a funeral, and is now child #20 for Michelle; she said she is going to tell people she has 19 children here and one in heaven. I keep wondering why the first miscarriage was treated so differently. No show back then?

Haha, I was just posting to say that it was Peter and not Andrew, but the website stopped me and said a new post had just been made and I might want to review my post. The Serven blog recently mentioned that Andrew just turned 13, so it's definitely not Andrew. :)

Ooh. I like the theory that they are counting Rebecca's miscarriage as a person. Weird, but I am guessing that might be it.

Guess I should update again? Frieda (Kiki, we renamed her) is here since the end of February 2021. She came with a bunch of problems, but is the best dog ever and is doing better every day. But we do now know how a dog with ptsd looks like. For real, not joking. If she is triggered during the day, she wakes up screaming at night. Not like dogs dream, but literally screaming. Other than that she went with us on countless trips, loves hiking and even cable cars. She is one heck of a fearless dog in situations who do not remind her of her old life.
My Grandpa passed away last May and I'm still grieving a lot. After sharing a house with my grandparents for over 30 years it is just horrible to lose one of them. Even though it was his decision and he got to go like he wanted. At home, in his bed during the night without doctors. He would have need more care and he did not want more care. So after turning 90 he decided to let go and became weaker and weaker.
In other news my dad stops working for good on April 1st. Retirement time. Keep my Mum and myself in your prayers. We really do not want him at home all the time. Haha!

I don't always make good decisions for myself due to severe depression but I did today actively decide not to do something that might have been detrimental for me and am very proud of myself.

Well, this is weird. At some point, recently, I broke my wrist. I had to get a Dexa-scan today (put it off for years) and along with some bone loss, damn I had it a few minutes ago… the results said, “Fracture risk is moderate, and the patient has a significant wrist fracture. Treatment is advised.”  my left wrist aches a little but not near as much as my back, feet, knees or fingers, damn RA. I have no idea how it happened. I haven’t fallen in 2 years, haven’t banged or bumped…  the dr will call tomorrow and we’ll get  this straightened out.
