I'm doing this as a public service because I have seen the original "article" shared three times today on Facebook. No, Pope Francis did not declare that "all religions are true" and there is no Vatican III council.

I feel like an idiot for having fallen for this. The non-existent "Third Vatican Council" should have been a tipoff.

It was from Diversity Chronicle, a site that claims to be "largely satirical." I'm a big fan of satire, and can't for the life of me find anything satirical in the article. Can anyone here?

and while fairfax has been sliding towards crapdom at great speed, publishing the 3rd VC story is... lowers to nothing my already very low expectations.
