Apparently Rocco, son of Madonna and Guy Richie just had a faux bar mitzvah. I didn't realize Kabbalah following non-Jews had bar mitzvah ceremonies.

Oh it reaches new heights of stupidity. Back when Madonna's dabbing in "Kabbalah" was first all over the news, various tabloids were pointing out how some of the wealthier followers were buying lots of kabbalistic texts.

In the original language.

For thousands of dollars.

That's right, they were spending all kinds of money on BOOKS THEY CAN'T EVEN READ, in the weird belief that just being around the books would somehow give them power or knowledge of the contents, via some mystical means.

I only wish my actual school textbooks worked like that!
