We're semicommunal. We share space, facilities and cooking with other people and we share bills and the like. Downside, you have random people sleeping in your main room when you wander through in the mornings and arguing way into the night. Upside, it's a very relaxed and friendly space.

Part of me loves the idea of a commune. Another part of me hates visitors coming to my house and prefers not to talk to anyone some days. I think I'm better off where I am! But I always love reading the blogs of people who live in communities. Maybe that's my compromise :)
