Lin Wood is having a normal one.

Besides Roberts he has been attacking Mark Meadows, Dan Crenshaw, and Pence and he called Brian Kemp a communist.

We need an entirely separate set of emojis for the political forum.  So many times I want to laugh or dead parrot the inner content, while also giving a thumbs-up or thank you to the FJ member and the outer/reporting account.  We need... ...derivative emojis!

"Tucker Carlson's insecure younger brother" Yeah, that is a good description of Hawley.

I live in Missouri and don't understand it.  However I'm of the opinion that someone with $$$ is backing him.  Because he's the guy who, as AG, went after Governor Eric Greitens and blew him out of office.  Greitens was republican and they're in the same party.  So someone wanted the man out of office.  Hawley then got a boost up to the Senate Seat and and with more $$$$ backing him in this twisted state that going more and more red dumped Dem McCaskell out of office.

I'm still not discounting election fraud.

I agree.  I think this was all in the bag for Trump until the coronavirus hit.  Then all their nice little plans went out the window.   You can't monkey with the election totals when you have paper ballots that people send in by mail.  No wonder Donny freaked out and had DeJoy start trashing sorting machines.

I understand that this is conspiracy theory territory but it's bothered me for years.  We have allowed private companies to create and own the machinery that counts our votes.  ES&S is owned by the McCarthy Group, a private equity firm.  They handle the voting for at least half of the country.  There are instances where thousands of votes have been lost and they couldn't or wouldn't track them (Sarasota, 2006).  In 2018, the machines lost 150,000 votes for the lieutenant governor of Georgia.  It just appeared that people had voted for the other offices but left the lieutenant governor spot blank.  When some states have tried to buy machinery from other companies, ES&S has filed lawsuits.

When Jill Stein lost in 2016, she tried to obtain information about ES&S and Diebold and the voting process.  She went to court and won but then they appealed the decision and said there was no need.  They insisted that they regularly test their own machines.  As far as I can tell, she never has been able to get that information.

The McCarthy Group donates heavily to Republicans.  And guess who is against regulating election infrastructure regulation and reform?  McConnell.  Yeah.  I know.  Big surprise.

I think the reason that Trump has targeted Dominion is that it was started by Canadians and is still widely used in Canada.

The system used by Maryland, ByteGrid, was purchased by AltPoint Capital Partners.  The largest stockholder at AltPoint was Vladimir Potanin, a Russian oligarch.  Suspicious online activity was noticed in voter registrations in Maryland in 2016.  They investigated but, unsurprisingly, found nothing.  Ownership of ByteGrid has now transferred to another private equity group.  It's difficult to tell who actually owns it.  All I do know is that our system is compromised.

As a European who's grandmother was part of the resistance during WWII, this is highly offensive to me. My grandmother risked her life and that of her six children by fighting the nazi's and hiding many Jewish neighbours and friends in a secret chamber dug under her house. Without her, many of them would have been deported and killed. She was a hero. And a socialist, I might add.

I am sure she would be so proud that her fight for those who need help continues in you.

Why would Gohmert believe, for an instant, that Pence...or Mother...would buckle under the threat of a lawsuit?

Lin Wood’s Ex-Law Partners Claim He Was Taped Admitting to Assaults, Asserting He May Be ‘Christ Coming Back for Second Time’

Attorney L. Lin Wood may believe himself to be a vessel of the second coming, and he’s not referring to another Donald Trump presidential term. That’s what Wood’s former law partners wrote in a legal brief quoting what they describe as recorded conversations proving that the lawyer gunning to overturn the 2020 election has a habit of associating himself with “God Almighty.”

“I might actually be Christ coming back for a second time in the form of an imperfect man, elevating Christ consciousness,” an extraordinary footnote quotes Wood telling his partners. “That cause you to have a little bit of a chill? Who would be more eloquent to say what the will of God is, the belief of God in me.”

The Turtle apparently asked Hawley to explain himself.  Only Hawley was missing.

And he was rebuked by a Nebraska Senator

I really want a full investigation into the ES&S machines, and some legislation passed about who can own/operate them, what parameters they need to fulfil, and requirements for transparency. Contracts are contracts, but legislation is made by politicians.

Or fill in at the polling station and drop in the box. Yes, you can "lose" boxes, but it's a bit harder than it is electronically.

Dear Lord. I think he needs his mental health team to do an urgent review, and possibly adjust some dosages.

Keep in mind that Missouri was the same state that gave us Rush Limpdick whose brand of on-air hate was at least partially responsible for the mess we are in today.

Do you follow @JennyCohn1 on twitter? She's been all over ES&S like a duck on a june bug for several years now.  ES&S had stated repeatedly that their machines were not connected to a modem, and then had to backtrack and admit that in many instances they were connected.

In Texas, prior to the start of this last election, the state IT guy was certifying the ES&S voting machines and programming.  He realized he'd skipped a key step, THE STEP THAT HE NEEDED TO TAKE TO CERTIFY THE MACHINES FOR USE IN THE ELECTION and found that the internal ES&S programming had automatically completed that step.

Apparently the IT guy called the company and got things "sorted out" and didn't think it was a big deal. Jennify Cohn was shitting bricks; that's the kind of thing that makes your hair stand on end.

Also in Texas you can often vote a straight ticket for your preferred party. In 2018, some people voting a straight Democratic ticket in Houston noticed that the selection for senator which should have been Beto O'Rourke, had been changed to Ted Cruz.

Jennifer Cohn is a solid proponent of hand-marked paper ballots because they aren't hackable.

Not on Twitter, but went to the first article she wrote, and holy crap, that is disturbing.

One very interesting bit for me is:

In 2008, during the Republican presidential primary in Cochise, Arizona, an ES&S “computer glitch” caused Mitt Romney to be erroneously declared victorious over John McCain (an error that was later corrected). After the election, Cochise county election officer, Tom Schelling, stated that “t was a cumulative (computer) error that just kept adding the results for five polling places every time new figures were added.”

Inadvertent fault? Possibly. Or not.

This one though...

White hat hackers from the group Anonymous claimed to have derailed a plan orchestrated by Karl Rove to hack the election in Ohio that year, but they never provided proof. On election night, Karl Rove had his infamous on air meltdown on Fox News when he would not accept that Obama had won the state.

Anonymous if you're out there... provide the proof.

One thing about the potential for election tampering that people don't get: it only needs to swing key precincts and the winning margin only needs to be about 3% (according to Karl Rove himself).
