He is unhinged, possibly senile dementia but undoubtedly “not all there.”  For the first time I have a glimmer of compassion, because no adult in right mind would say such a thing.  Just a glimmer, mind you, I still hate him with the fire of a thousand suns. 
 

 Will anyone in the White House or his family or the Republican party speak up or take action? I doubt it.  And people will still vote for him! It is ludicrous  and yet, here we are. If this clown is not replaced with a someone sane, there is no hope for this country.

No. He's been a very cooperative, useful idiot for them for over 3 years now. For both his evil family and the Republicans in Congress. As long as his pathetic orange ego is stroked constantly and they fawn over him him like an 11 year old girl swooning over her favorite boy band member, he's like putty in their hands. Sure, he's embarrassing for him, but the rewards are worth it.

But if this presidency doesn't permanently end the Republican party, I see little hope for this country.

My understanding is that in that era, “feminine hygiene” was code for birth control.  Not only didn’t it work, but plenty of women died from it.

Some of the ads, and there are many, specifically reference the unpleasant smell of the vaginal area being off putting to men.  It's funny, in an era they couldn't say pregnancy on TV the ads were far more explicit than what you'd say now.

But it was used as BC and yes, absolutely women died.  I can't even imagine the damage just using it to douche caused.

I learned about Lysol as birth control when I read Maupin’s ‘Days of Anna Madrigal’.  
 

People like Dense and Mother are pro-life until the kids pop out. Then the baby is on its own. Who needs a social safety net when we have aircraft carriers to build?
