Very inspiring. It is sad to think she may (and very likely will be, given our political climate) be deported. My eyes were first opened to the plight of women in Muslim nations when I heard Mavis Leno speak on the subject. I can't imagine living anywhere or under any conditions where my every waking moment is monitored and regulated.

In many of my cases, I need to realize that my clients here are still living that life. Even something like getting a cell phone on her own could be interpreted as proof that she is a whore.
