Yesterday, I read an article about gays from the military participating in a gay pride parade. They wore street clothes because active duty memebers of the military can't wear their uniform while at any protest. The comments under the article were depressing but many of them said exactly what Pat Robertson did.

A lot of them pointed out that ancient socities that weren't against homosexuals no longer exist. Um....The Romans and Greeks had cultures that lasted much longer than the United States has been a country. If god was punishing them for homosexuality he was being very slo...oow about it. Really, do these people think that any country will last forever? Eventually America won't be the biggest, most powerful nation.

I think we are already seeing signs of that, but it has nothing to do with gay marriage and everything to do with a soaring national debt and a poor economy.
