A lot of my family is from Nova Scotia (Cape Breton) and New Brunswick (Hammond, King's County).  I use Family Search for my research and have found quite a few documents, such as Canadian Census records as well as a few birth, baptism, and marriage records.  Does anyone have other suggestions for doing Canadian research?  I have so many holes that I would like to fill, and am finding it so difficult---especially with the Scottish clan in Nova Scotia--they all have the same names, first and last!  I wish I could take an epic road trip and do research in person.

I'm very much a newbie at this (as in started thus weekend). Anyone have suggestions for French Canadian sources? Quebec area for sure also possibly Montreal. Does anyone find Google translate to be helpful?
