Lead Them Not Into Visual Temptation

Yep, another men are visual bullshit.

She starts:

OK, wives… it’s time to talk about guarding our husbands.

Your leader husbands need your help. You must help them with their own lack of self-control.

Let me lay it out for you… MEN ARE VISUAL!

And women are not. Right.

Sometimes I wonder if men actually see things (visually) different from women. Perhaps a sunset is even more beautiful through their eyes. How awesome to be able to visually enjoy God’s creations so fully.

Wow. I have nothing to say here.

In the same way that you wouldn’t offer a recovering alcoholic a drink, it’s probably not best to knowingly bring images like that into your home.

Unless hubby is a recovering porn addict or sex addict, how will a JCPenney magazine with underwear ads in your home automatically lead to addiction? I think most men notice a woman they find attractive, but I think most men see underwear ads for what they are, simply ads. It's not porn. It's to sell underwear to women.

But just as you need to feel loved and cherished, guys need this to feel confident and secure....What better way to show your husband respect than to let him lead? This proves to him that you think he’s the man

 Not another one of these types.

I would respect my husband, because that's how relationships work. But the thing is, I expect him to respect me as well. I believe both lovers should love and cherish and respect the other.

I mean, if you aren’t having some physical interaction with your husband, he’s going to get frustrated.

This is nice, but at the beginning she talks about porn being the reason women end up with more desire for sex than her husband. What does this have to do with porn addiction? Does she really think that as long women have sex as much their husbands want, she can prevent his addiction? It doesn't usually work that way.

It’s important that we help our sons understand the differences between admiring beauty and lusting after a woman. They need to respect women.

I kind of agree with this statement. Except I'm certain that how I think of respect for women is different than hers. I think it is important to teach sons that women aren't here simply for their viewing pleasure. That they don't have a right to a woman and they don't have a right to assault her either. They don't have a right to rule over her. She's a human just like them and deserves respect. Would they like to be simply walking down the street and being wolf-whistled and have inappropriate comments taunted at them about their body parts? Probably not. So don't do it to a woman either.

ETA: to change girl to woman. Shame on me. And to add the link.

Exactly what I thought when I started reading your post. Where are these women coming from? It's spreading like an epidemic or something.

Pfft. If women were visually stimulated this would be hot.

I'm okay with people thinking women aren't visual. It just means no one would dare accuse me of having the hots for other guys, which means I have more time to look at the guys! It's a win win for me, personally.

You know my favorite part about these twits that blather about men being more "visual" than women? They lead to threads like these. Carry on ladies.

But on a serious note, why the obsession with guarding your husbands virgin eyes? Everybody likes body parts. Fact of life. Nothing to cry about.

 Ummm, could I have more pics please, I'm not sure if I'm visual or not. Doesn't matter on the sex as those women had some lovely faces and boobies. But where is St. Alan? I need me some St. Alan to not lust over.

You guys DO know about the Provacateuse site, yes? No? Well, then, you're in for a treat.

Behold! Reams and reams and REAMS of high-quality beefcake (and cheesecake!), organized in highly aesthetic categories, for the visual consumption of (primarily) women.

This video is great for not lusting over the divine Mr. Rickman.

Way to objectify people, just like men do.

Agreed. Though I will say the red-headed woman on the first page, I think the dress colour suits her well. You can tell she's been photoshopped though. She looks too plastic or something. I love the emerald dress though. It wouldn't look good on me though, the colour with my skin and hair and my blue eyes...I wouldn't be able to pull it off. *sighs*
