Peter Bradrick on Battle Lines

I just stumbled across this -- have we snarked on this yet?

He's speaking at some homeschool conference and is stumbling through his notes (which, really, are they his or someone else's because he certainly doesn't seem prepared or familiar with his topic).

Enjoy!

I love that he stumbles on #23 - Pornography. I think he probably had some unholy thoughts there that froze his brain.

This video is just totally cracking me up.

Apparently you need to be able to understand the antithesis of Gods' word before you can fully understand God's word. That pretty much sums up the approach of these people: "We don't like this, so we're going to find a reason in the Bible for hating it".

I notice he's only addressing men...but there are lots of women in the audience. I'm sure it makes them feel great when a speaker at a conference they've taken time and trouble to attend simply talks through them.

"Battle-hardened manhood".

A manhood which I'm sure was "battle-hardened" somewhere in the Amamzon rainforest.

I'm an ebil Catolick feminist who served in the military, so I'm a battle line all by myself, and proud of it. ;)

Did you see the spelling errors in the powerpoint presentation?

I like to say my thoughts of Bradrick's so called 'Battle lines'

Crappity Crappity Crap

insecure, self-admiring, super macho, phallic-worshiping, homoerotic crybaby.

Is this guy insecure much? Really, he seems to be over compensating for something (I have a good idea what it could be as well).

Edited because of stupid auto correct

At 3:00, check out the dude with the beard sleeping. That's exactly how I feel, dude.

Bradrick is one of the worst public speakers I've ever encountered.

"There's a battle line."

About what I got too. The women out there just, you know, they want to destroy him. And the public school=wards of the state thing. I thought the only children who were "wards of the state" were those in foster care that the government has to care for because some parents never should have been parents. I'm quite sure I wasn't a ward of the state when I went to school.

THe Christian nation thing had me rolling my eyes in the back of my head.

"Battle-hardened Manhood" would be a great name for some gay porn.

On-topic: Ugh, just finished watching that dreck. I will never get those 6 1/2 minutes back. Petey has shit speaking skills. And the audience looked just riveted. Andy by riveted I mean bored out of their skills.

There are some things I didn't get;

What do they mean when he said about kids being 'Wards of the State" and 'Socialism and Marxism and Darwinism"?

What do they think those words mean? what is the fundie definition of Statism, Socialism etc?

It's all in The Bible, doncha know. Of course, if you had asked your husband, at home, quietly, he could have "schooled" you in everything you needed to know.

If I had my way with this homosocial dude, I would put a snake in his bed, an anaconda to be precise.

There's already been one-Dougie!
