I am opening a Holy Church of the Strip Center

I have decided that I have a little next time on my hands my PhD is finished and three counts have left the castle. The church is center around the Seven Deadly Sins.

Here is my reasonings-we really do not know if there is an after life, being Jewish we do not believe, so it is not a big jump for me. Why spend all your waking hours trying to figure out how to get accepted to the club which we have no idea is really there. So let's go out and enjoy. We can do have food porn party's, talk about the why Julie Child is a GOD in her own right, develop new martini's and other drinks after we are real good at that we will move on to the other sins. Don't want to move too fast.

I too read it as "Strip Club." And that'd be just hilarious.

UUs can be awesome, been there. I always got more out of the smaller groups than the services but the people were cool.

Living in the middle of no where with a bunch of Mormon and Christian Fundie I did not know about the UU. Now I have to think about another idea for my Holy Church of the Strip center, maybe the Holy Church of Strip Club would work. Let me work on that one.

Yeah, me too. :D

UU for me allows me to participate in the choir and the ritual of church without the whole messy Christianity thing. There are Christian (and Pagan, and Jewish, and Buddhist) UUs, but at least on the west coast, most of us are humanists, atheists, and agnostics.
