Parents Charged with Neglect for death of 3 year old due to untreated cancer tumor

Is anyone out there following this case?  Oklahoma is charging the parents of a 3 year old who recently died from a 17 lb malignant tumor with first degree manslaughter and neglect.

The couple apparently has six other children and they all had been living in a camper home.

I'm wondering what all will turn up in the investigation.

Living in Oklahoma, usually things like that are reported on all the news outlets.  But this is the first I've heard of it.  It is atrocious.

'Authorities who observed the girl at the hospital noted “severe signs” of malnutrition and potential abuse, according to a police affidavit obtained by the Constitution.

“I observed the child having a severely distended abdomen with a protruding ‘Belly Button’ swollen legs and what appeared to be some type of injuries to the vaginal and anal areas of the body,” Detective Thomas Brown wrote.'

4 years in prison isn’t long enough for the parents. That poor little girl.

These are disgusting human beings who are out on bail with ankle monitors.  I cannot believe they will only serve up to four years if convicted.
