Buckle up, it's time for another story of white male privilege.

Paige Patterson, an influential leader in the Southern Baptist Church, was once the president of the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. However, he was summarily fired from his position because he grossly mishandled a rape allegation from one of the students at the SWBTS:

Quote

Paige Patterson lied to the board of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (SWBTS) about a rape allegation that came before him at another seminary, withheld documents from his previous presidency, and referenced attempting to ‘break down’ the victim of a more recent rape incident, according to a new statement released Friday by the chairman of the school’s board of trustees.”

Never fear, though, Patterson has been given a new job...teaching “Christian Ethics: The Bible and Moral Issues" at the same theological seminary from which he was fired.

It’s too much to hope for, but imagine if the class was set up so that it was really taught by someone else? And the first lesson of ethics class was, “Check on is teaching your ethics class before you sign up!”?

I could see him teaching a class on LACK OF ethics, not on having ethics.  Because I don' think he does have any ethics.  Or any smarts, either.  This is extremely hypocritical of the university.
