A Dunkin' Donuts employee is now an ex-employee for writing a nasty message on a cup to a homeless woman

Quote

A downtown Dunkin' Donuts is receiving backlash after an employee told a homeless woman to "stop 'hangin' outside" the store.

It happened Friday morning at the store on Court Street when someone went to go buy the homeless woman a drink. The owner of the store, Mike Benhase, says the employee making the beverage took "matters into her own hands."

That employee wrote the following on the cup: "Stop 'hangin' in front of the store if you have a fulltime job. -Mgmt."

Benhase says that employee is no longer with the company.

Yeah to this ex employee I just say bed, made, lie.

That is simply infuriating.  Just plain wrong.  I'm glad that the employee got fired.  He or she deserved to get fired.

Now that he lost his job, maybe he'll have a little more sympathy for homeless folk - he's probably a paycheck away from being one.

If I want to buy food or a drink for a homeless person, which I do fairly often, then it's between me and that person.  I don't need a judgey server getting into my businesses.
