Painting furniture

I got an end table at a garage sale yesterday for $2.  So I decided to have some fun painting it.  It's been 8 years since I've touched acrylic paint, but it was fun.  I think the hibiscus and the hummingbird may be clashing with each other - next time I think I won't try to put quite so much on there, but it was good practice, and I had a lot of fun doing it.  

Ironically, the artwork doesn't really suit my house, so I'm not sure where to put it or what to do with it - but the little trehuugers love it, so it may end up in their room as a nightstand.
