Not one but two mothers of 18

Has anyone seen this blog? It is not heavy on religious content but the authors are fascinating. They are both moms of 18.

One mom, Kristi, gave birth to her 18 kids. About half of them are grown up, with three in college. The other mom, Amy, has five birth kids and 13 more adopted from the foster care system, all between 5-21. These moms live in the Pacific Northwest and write mostly about farm life and gardening. They homeschool and are devoutly Christian, but, like I said, their blog is mostly about gardening and cooking.

I don't think someone who is a fan of Kelly Crawford could possibly be a decent parent. Not only does Kelly talk about denying her children what they want and desire in life (they must ONLY live to serve God) but she also mentions denying them their needs (by giving them poor nutrition and locking away the rest of the food). Except for that obvious child neglect, there's also some serious child abuse. Her child-rearing book is a child abuse manual about breaking the child's will by beating her/him until he/she can't manage to say a word.

Interesting- in an interview Amy says she was in foster car for a little while as a child, which led to her interest in adopting out of foster care.
