Holy crap, don't they read books before they put them on preschool bookshelves! At least make sure the lovely cartoon book you bought for the kids doesn't have any pictures of kinky sex penguins.

For the record, if I had come across that book I probably would have bought it for my toddlers. And then struggled in vain to not crack up when I read it to them. If that makes me a terrible person, well, so be it.
