Anybody seen this wonderful New Zealand miniseries? It stars Elisabeth Moss (PEGGY!), who has a somewhat sketchy accent but does tremendously well in the lead role. It's a mystery involving a remote town and is directed by the one...the only...Jane Campion. She pulls off her usual brilliant job, creating an extraordinary atmosphere. Holly Hunter also appears in a small role (and originally Anna Paquin was supposed to play Moss's part...think of the reunion potential there!). All in all, highly worth a look. TW for sexual assault, unfortunately.

Yep, I saw it. Tbh I got reaaaalllly confused from about halfway through. Hunter's part/ the commune seemed a bit pointless, a bit like atmospheric window dressing.

I would love to talk over the ending with someone though! Really gut wrenching.
