This is a very interesting interview about the corruption in the adoption industry and how the Christian evangelical adoption movment created an extreme demand for adoptable children, often adopting non orphans whose families get tricked into putting their child up for adoption.

I'm reading her book now. It's just making me see red. Trust the religious right to pervert something that should be so pure and loving, welcoming a beautiful child into your family. No, let's make sure we indoctrinate them as Christian soldiers first and foremost. The rest can follow, if the "parents" can be bothered. There's a battle that needs winning!
