Looks Like Iowa's Getting Hit Again

Earlier this week forecasters were saying that we could be seeing a major winter storm later this week here in Minnesota but now it looks like the heavier stuff will go south of us and be down in Iowa again.

Before today it looked like up here in the Twins we were going to be seeing some weather and I think they had a winter storm watch/warning before but they slid back to winter weather advisory for Thursday into Friday.

It was snowing after work today but when I went out it was melting as soon as it hit the pavement so that's a good sign spring is getting closer.  I'm ready to be done with winter so I can head out on the two wheeled money sink again.

Random, but in one of my Sims 4 saves I have a female Sim called Artemis. She even has a twin brother called Apollo! She got a degree in Physics and works in the Astronaut career. I haven’t experimented with it yet, but I’ve downloaded an archery mod mainly so I can get Artemis into it (Artemis was the Ancient Greek goddess of the hunt and one of her symbols was a bow and arrow).

Artemis also makes me think of the Artemis Fowl books where the title character is male.

I don’t know how well Justin’s business was doing before he got sick, but I don’t know what kind of income they’ll have in the future.

I was wondering that too. There seems to be no planning beyond "God will provide" - is the liquidation solely to cover bills, have they accepted that Justin won't return to work, who knows.

Re: James. He has maintained what seems to be a very cordial relationship with the Brands.

I'm glad, particularly for the children's sake, that they've been able to do so.

Totally BEC, I know, but did it bother anyone else that she named her eldest son William and her youngest Liam?

YES!! It's the SAME NAME!! I'm glad the third boy got his own name. :)

I think Justin looks good because he finally had to get rid of his beard. But he doesn’t look overly fatigued or in pain, so that’s good. It’s interesting how helpful James has been to Justin and Shalom. He comes off as much more of a stand up person than Shoshanna.

That beard was revolting so shaving it off is no loss. Not sure why men think scraggly long beards are attractive. Ugh.

Re: James. He has maintained what seems to be a very cordial relationship with the Brands. There have been occasional social media posts of them socializing together when James apparently has custody of his minor children.

Re: Shoshanna. Judging from her social media posts, she is an utterly selfish & narcissistic human being so she probably has no time to spare for her sisterʻs difficulties or empathy for her BIL or their children. Also, has BFF Lauren moved out or on? Someone else - Jessica? - is featured in the recent stories & seems to be staying there with her kids.
