I hadn't played the Parker family in nearly two months, but with this coronavirus keeping everyone indoors I figured it would be a good time to play them again.

A reminder of the kids so far: Chloe, Caleb, Calvin, Clara and Connie.

Last time we saw them, it was Snowflake Day and everyone was getting gifts.

It was also the twins' birthdays! Clara is in pink and Connie in lilac.

Apparently, when you're at level 7 in politics, your taxi around town is actually a limo. Super fancy.

The way that homeschool works is that you can download homework from a computer, and then once it's done you download a new piece. This needs to be done multiple times a day to get the best grades.

Amanda was going a little stir-crazy so she went to the grocery store. She then decided to learn a new recipe.

Caleb helping out round the house. Yeah, Chloe is the sister-mom/C-slave, but there's only one of her. Plus, it's good for all kids to do chores!

Amanda actually decided to get a JOB! Don't worry, it's only a stay-at-home one; she's decided to open a daycare.

Chloe decided to make everyone lunch... sadly, though, it burnt. Ah well, every cook must start somewhere!

Caleb really likes planes, it seems...

Both Amanda and Chris celebrated their birthdays on the same day. Here's Chris celebrating his.

Chloe decided to take her little brothers to the library.

Caleb actually gets an opportunity to meet another kid!

It's been a while since this happened....

Daycare comes with a uniform. It involved some sluttish trousers, so I changed the outfit a little bit.

I think we know what might be going on...

Chloe, of course, must clean up the mess.

Is that Amanda working out in a GYM??? She's gone outside so she doesn't have to see anyone else.

Is that Chloe going off to prom? She doesn't really even know any other young Sims in Appaloosa Plains.

Screenshot-1939.thumb.jpg.f54df3411af924359d5ce58061bb21a1.jpg

Nope! She's got sister-mom duties to attend to. And she's tired, too. She doesn't really mind. Maybe her parents can take her out for a fancy meal.

Ta da! Amanda's expecting a new blessing!

What will C-baby #6 be called? Caleb ages up soon, as does Calvin. So we'll have two teens, a child, two toddlers and a baby. Lord help them.

If the UK or even the Scottish government change their minds on chicken pox and shingles vaccines, I will definitely be getting the shingles vaccine and vaccinating any children I have for the chicken pox. I had shingles when I was 12 and I wouldn't want it again.

So on today's exciting episode, we are once again, advised to not be greedy (overeating) or greedy for money, ect, ect.  Now, me?   My only focus is on Gwen's HUGE rock of a diamond ring she has on her left hand as she's saying this.  You just gotta know, he did NOT pay for it.  Next, I always giggle at Joe's far away look, as he expounds on  biblical matters, all the while looking like has a serious case of  gas.  Just my take.  Oh, and I see that stupid 'shining the light' song is back up again.  Michael is nominally talented.  Honestly?  Joe has a much better voice.

Joe reads the passage about Passover when each household is killing a lamb, putting the blood of the lamb around the door frame, and then eating the lamb "in haste".  Gwen says, "Joe -- how beautiful is that, huh?"  And he answers, "Amazing."  It's always the little filler comments that I find amusing.

And Gwen says that they ate unleavened bread that didn't have time to rise.  She says you need to "get out of your sin quickly.  Don't let it have time to rise."  What??  She also says that, during the exodus, people were getting out of the "glitter of Egypt".

You gotta love how she's always dragging the conversation back to being skinny.  She talks about how terrible it is to be "in slavery to sin" and to be "caught up in obesity, caught up in drunkenness, caught up in the love of money, caught up in sexual sin, caught up in the pride of life..."   Oh, Gwenny.  You might have fought off that demon of obesity but that love of money demon has got you by your scrawny neck.

These jerks need to stop being fake Jews. Also it's bizarre how they pretend that Easter is just a postscript. The superficiality of the jibberish-filled "message" of Gwen Shamblin Lara's Remnant Fellowship cult is an insult to both history and religion.

These folks who think "the rules don't count because family" make me so mad. We have a family member in a retirement community 4 miles away that we haven't seen in a month, and other family 20 miles away that we haven't seen in 2 weeks. Suck it up, fundies.

When Jesus says "render unto Caesar," I also interpret that as "follow Caesar's rules, idiots"

I think the outcomes of Jill and Jessa are very swayed by headships. If Derrick had kept in line, he and Jill might still have been on the show. Then came dancing and public school. If Ben put his foot down and said I no longer want my family on tv, I think we would see changes in Jessa. Especially if they moved out of state and Jessa had to start raising a family without her families support.
