Parkers Part Five: Chloe the Sister-Mom

I actually haven't played the Parkers for a bit, but I do have some pictures from the last time I played them.

Last time, Caleb had just aged up into a child. So, we had a second pupil in the Parker Homeschool.

Sorry, Chloe. Mommy and Daddy are clearly prioritising their sleep over yours.

She decided that it would be best to nap on the sofa.

CHANGE ME MOMMY!

Woo, snow angel! Strange that he didn't change into his outerwear, though.

Taking advantage of a moment of peace to practise the piano.

Caleb cleans up in the boys' room.

It's Chloe's birthday!

Now she's a teenager, she can finally act as a sister-mom!

She spent time playing the xylophone as a toddler, so she gets a headstart on adult music skills.

Family band practice!

It was soon Snowflake Day, so they threw a gift-giving party. Note Calvin in his walker...

Even though Kim Marshall is a short-skirts-wearing heathen, Chloe knows to be polite.

Getting ready for present-opening! Calvin still in his walker.

Chloe got a good one! (I forget what she actually got).

Unable to take part in present opening, Calvin just ambles about in his walker, amusing himself. Chris got a good present, although for some reason it didn't actually show up in-game; it came up as "*** Failure Object". Googling seems to indicate that it's not a major issue; it's in the family inventory for now.

That makes 5 new Mortons in 2024, by my count, and the year is young...

Does anyone know if Rachel had her baby? Kressant posted an IG story recently with a baby, but didn't say whose.

Pretty sure it was the friends baby. She had posted about taking stuff to her.

Also "you weren't ready to have that baby" has a much more awful failure state than "you weren't ready to start a garden". Plants dying from dehydration are kind of sad but it's nothing compared to having your baby die of sepsis because you didn't have the attention span to check and change their diaper regularly.

I would think having already experienced a uterine rupture, and IIRC this was with Freddy and about 3 weeks before his due date, Jill is in a higher than average risk for untoward events and likely is on a very individualized OBGYN plan. Navigating a pregnancy and safe birth after having had a previous uterine rupture and never having had a vaginal delivery has to make Jill’s care quite unique. I hope she utilizes high risk maternal/fetal practitioners.

Everyone is different and it’s her choice of course, but for me only the very crunchy and fundie would even consider a vbac after her horror births.
It’s so sad that her only chance so far for a natural birth has been her angel baby girl.
But for  me, if I was Jill any full term babe would be c section signed up on conception.

3 are married to Helferichs and 2 are married to Bowers.  If that doesn't scream arranged, I don't know what does.
