I’m betting that Cathy has been a good support for Jill, and also a main catalyst in Jill realizing that her parents, their decisions and purported values were/are not healthy or above board.

What a hard realization that one can believe in God, be kind and moral, attend services, schools and work for a living vs grifting and still be decent people.
