Need advice - fine tip markers

I know I'm lucky not have to have been shunned for not coloring...but I need some advice from those of you well schooled in the art of marker buying for a work thing.  Ahem @Curious:)

I have a system of specing out new reports or mapping current ones where I use Pilot Precise V5 Rolling Ball fine tip (I don't know if they are called markers or pens, but super fine tip so I can write crazy small.)  I need multiple colors to differentiate mapping to different tables, show common variables across calcs, etc. and the ones I use now come in a pack of 7 (red, pink, green, blue, teal, purple, and black.)

I the colors are perfect, the fine tip is perfect and lets me go as small as I need to...but I hate them.  I hate the scratchy feel when I'm writing with them.  I'm a philistine when it comes to pens...I am not a fan of gel pens and much prefer the plain old Bic round ones that everyone hates.  I've tried some felt tips but the points aren't fine enough for my purposes.

So does anyone know of a ultra fine tip that feels smooth and kind of silky when it writes and not scratchy?

I know - first world problem - but it's the slighted of nails on the chalkboard thing when using these and I need some kind of change to improve my life and I've decided this is it - new markers.

Oh - and they need to be able to come from an office supply place or Amazon since I'm not bothered enough to actually get out of my car to buy them manually.

I hate when something is almost perfect but has a deal breaker you just can't get over.  Ugh.

I had a thing for pens long before I fell into adult coloring.  For the record, I buy my own and take them to work because I don't think my employer should have to fund my pen fetishes.

I've used the ones you have above.  Actually I might have a few strays running about.  I think I drifted away from them because they at times leaked.  Or found something I like better.

I too am a fan of multiple (happy) colors in pens.  Mainly because as a writer who does still like to print and hand mark manuscripts I don't like black (blends in with the print), red (teachers, and it looks like you bled all over the page) or blue (too many other people use blue).

I prefer at the moment Uni-ball Micro Vision Elite .5mm  Mine has a black barrel.  There are some wiht a white barrel that I think aren't as fine.  Granted, I use these for ordinary work purposes (and the package I am looking at is for black pens - which I use as a bean counter) but I think they come in multiple colors other than black/blue/red.  Smooth writing.  Fine enough for me.  disclaimer - I found the package at home not long ago when my work pen ran out so I don't know who long ago I bought this pack.  It's been a while - and I tend to buy a couple of packs of my favorite pens when I find something I like.

Not sure if this helps or not.

I have a couple suggestions for you.   I really like the Pilot Frixon pens: http://www.amazon.com/Pilot-FriXion-Pencil-Ballpoint-LFP-312FN-24C/dp/B003R7ZVF2/ref=sr_1_6?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1454088559&sr=1-6&keywords=frixion

That particular set is not the ultra-fine point, but I see they have this set that is ultra-fine: http://www.amazon.com/Pilot-Retractable-Erasable-Komainu-Dou-Original/dp/B00R6L6ASC/ref=sr_1_9?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1454088559&sr=1-9&keywords=frixion

While they are called gel pens, I do not consider them gel pens, per se.  They are very smooth and come in 24 colors, IIRC.  There is quite a bit of variety in the set I have.

If you are not worried about bleed through, the ultra fine sharpies or bic permanent markers are both good as well, but they absolutely will bleed through.  Both sets come in up to 36 colors, IIRC.

This is also a really fine point set with a lot of variety, but you may have to worry about bleed through if you aren't careful: http://www.amazon.com/Stabilo-8830-2-Point-Color-Wallet/dp/B00ATBRJRC/ref=sr_1_1?s=arts-crafts&ie=UTF8&qid=1454088996&sr=1-1&keywords=stabilo

I hope that helps :)

I bow to the superior knowledge of Curious on the topic of pens, but I almost suggested the FriXion pens earlier.  I use them for quilting and other things.  You can mark up your fabric and for the most part the ink irons off (some say it returns if you use the quilt in the very cold outdoors or if you put it in the freezer, others say that isn't true).  One thing I do know - if you mark up your fabric and then decide it needs a quick press before you sew - you are as silly as I am.  If you do that several times without learning anything by it, message me and we can talk about this embarrassing frustration in private ;)

Yep. And it’s not actually true either. We know they hired out plenty of stuff. If she actually made a list of the stuff they hired out, it would be long.

She could have actually had the kitchen designed so it would be easier to prep for meals and clean up afterwards.  I see nothing like that

I don't think her mind goes to functionality because she's not using that space for much. She's all pretty! Shiny!! NEW!!

She mentioned in a story yesterday that she had to clean some poopy diapers so the boys are nearly four and she still isn't toilet training them.  They will stay babies for a couple more years

I would be getting that looked into (ie seeing a continence nurse), that's unusually late to be still in diapers, particularly with older siblings. If she can't see that that is a problem it's a bit of a worry.

I think Joy is one of the siblings that was critical of Jill when she pulled away from the family the way she did, and they may not have much of a relationship right now. Don’t see any interaction on social media, though I know we don’t see everything. That would be a shame if that was the case, especially since Jill was there for Joy when Joy lost Annabelle.

Joy commented on the IG post. Saying she was heartbroken for them or similar. She comments occasionally, the usual “ how cute” about a kid pic or whatever.  All the married daughters seem supportive of each other.  I don’t think we can really judge off social media interaction, or even photos together. They are all busy, with lots of small children, and most of the events we get photos of are crowded with not everyone present necessarily in the picture. They may text or send each other funny memes or get together for coffee and we know nothing about it.

In Chelsea's Easter pictures George is wearing an outfit that I literally have never seen ever. It almost looks like weird plus fours. She is slowly inching him into pants I guess. Is Pentecostal fashion very big and blousy like what the older girls wear? It looks like the shape would be comfortable but the fabrics wouldn't be. I guess if you are aiming for a potato sack shape you need to add as much lace and ruffles and florals as possible to make sure that people know it is clothing.
